Definitions
- the present invention relates to interior details of the temperature chamber of a baking oven.
- EP-0707177 describes a baking oven which has two lateral guide racks, in the temperature chamber, juxtaposed vertically to the respective side wall of the oven chamber, as well as vertical rods forming various tiers resting on the lateral guide racks for supporting the baking plate or tray.
- FR-2681128 discloses a basket grill for a baking oven, wherein the two side walls of the oven have a lateral guide along which slides the horizontal grill.
- DE-U-9 016 884 discloses a tray support for a baking oven according to the first portion of claim 1.
- the object of the present invention is a support for the food trays in a baking oven, comprising a pair of immobile lateral supports, and a horizontal sliding grill on which the tray rests, the grill being supported and guided by the lateral supports, as defined in claim 1.
- the tray support according to the invention can be disassembled simply, and removed from the oven chamber for purposes of easier cleaning.
- the grill has means of retention against a stop in the lateral support rod guides, for its partial extraction by means of manual displacement along the lateral support guides, in order to prevent its falling to the floor, and as its tilting as well, which might cause spillage.
- the grill can be removed from the oven chamber, either separately or with the tray resting on it, by raising it until disengaging said means of retention.
- the grill on which the tray rests has means for facilitating the placement of the tray, which centre it at the same time and prevent it from sliding on the grill.
- the lateral supports and the grill are made from wire rods
- the retention means and the centring means are also made of wire rod and are integrated into the grill, like the stops in the lateral support guides, which facilitates the construction of the tray support.
- the guides in the lateral supports for guiding the sliding grill are conformed by a pair of parallel wire rods, which are arranged a short distance apart from each other, adjusted to the thickness of the grill, which further permits the number of guides to be increased in a domestic oven up to four at a different height, unlike the known domestic oven supports, which have three heights.
- the broad mouth of each guide permits the grill to be tilted and the retention member raised over the stop of the lateral supports, at the time either of inserting the grill into the chamber or removing from it.
- tray 2 rests on grill 3 and the latter is supported on the guides 7 of the lateral supports 4, inside the oven chamber 5, suspended from the interior wall 6 of the chamber.
- the pair of rods 7 a and 7 b conforms each lateral guide for the displacement of grill 3, which is retained by the retention salient 3 a when being removed from the chamber, as shown in figure 3.
- four guides 7 are constructed at different heights in a domestic oven.
- the mouth 9 of the guide 7 permits the retention rib 3 a to be disengaged by raising the grill 3.
- the grill peripheral member 8 for centring and holding the tray 2 is constructed preferably by forming a salient rim to surround the tray, with two lateral half-rims 8 or four angle corners. made of rod and integrated into the grill, where the tray receptacle 2 fits but not its edge 8 a , which also remains above the height of the mouth 9, as shown in figure 1, so as not to obstruct the displacement of the grill 3.

Description
- The present invention relates to interior details of the temperature chamber of a baking oven.
- EP-0707177 describes a baking oven which has two lateral guide racks, in the temperature chamber, juxtaposed vertically to the respective side wall of the oven chamber, as well as vertical rods forming various tiers resting on the lateral guide racks for supporting the baking plate or tray.
- FR-2681128 discloses a basket grill for a baking oven, wherein the two side walls of the oven have a lateral guide along which slides the horizontal grill.
- Further DE-U-9 016 884 discloses a tray support for a baking oven according to the first portion of claim 1.
- The object of the present invention is a support for the food trays in a baking oven, comprising a pair of immobile lateral supports, and a horizontal sliding grill on which the tray rests, the grill being supported and guided by the lateral supports, as defined in claim 1.
- The tray support according to the invention, can be disassembled simply, and removed from the oven chamber for purposes of easier cleaning.
- The grill has means of retention against a stop in the lateral support rod guides, for its partial extraction by means of manual displacement along the lateral support guides, in order to prevent its falling to the floor, and as its tilting as well, which might cause spillage. The grill can be removed from the oven chamber, either separately or with the tray resting on it, by raising it until disengaging said means of retention.
- The grill on which the tray rests has means for facilitating the placement of the tray, which centre it at the same time and prevent it from sliding on the grill. As the lateral supports and the grill are made from wire rods, the retention means and the centring means are also made of wire rod and are integrated into the grill, like the stops in the lateral support guides, which facilitates the construction of the tray support.
- The guides in the lateral supports for guiding the sliding grill, are conformed by a pair of parallel wire rods, which are arranged a short distance apart from each other, adjusted to the thickness of the grill, which further permits the number of guides to be increased in a domestic oven up to four at a different height, unlike the known domestic oven supports, which have three heights. The broad mouth of each guide permits the grill to be tilted and the retention member raised over the stop of the lateral supports, at the time either of inserting the grill into the chamber or removing from it.
-
- FIG. 1 is a front view of the tray support conforming to the invention, in the oven chamber.
- FIG. 2 is a profile view of the support in figure 1, showing the tray inserted into the oven chamber.
- FIG. 3 is a profile view of the support in figure 1, showing the tray partly removed from the oven chamber.
-
- With reference to the figures 1 - 3,
tray 2 rests ongrill 3 and the latter is supported on the guides 7 of thelateral supports 4, inside theoven chamber 5, suspended from theinterior wall 6 of the chamber. - The pair of
rods grill 3, which is retained by the retention salient 3a when being removed from the chamber, as shown in figure 3. Preferably, four guides 7 are constructed at different heights in a domestic oven. Themouth 9 of the guide 7 permits theretention rib 3a to be disengaged by raising thegrill 3. - The grill
peripheral member 8 for centring and holding thetray 2 is constructed preferably by forming a salient rim to surround the tray, with two lateral half-rims 8 or four angle corners. made of rod and integrated into the grill, where thetray receptacle 2 fits but not its edge 8a, which also remains above the height of themouth 9, as shown in figure 1, so as not to obstruct the displacement of thegrill 3.
