Das bekannte Dichtungsprofil besteht aus einem Längssteg und drei Paaren beidseitig daran angebrachter Querstege, wobei die Breite der Querstege von oben nach unten abnimmt, so daß die oberen Deckstege über die mittleren Dichtstege und diese wiederum über die unteren Dichtstege überstehen. Es hat sich aber gezeigt, daß die Verankerung dieses Dichtungsprofils in den Fugen nicht in allen Fällen ausreichend gut ist; außerdem erfordert die beschriebene Konstruktion einen verhältnismäßig hohen Materialaufwand.There is a sealing profile in the utility model DE-U 29 620 999 for sealing joints between wide concrete sleepers for the Track construction described. Es ist vorzugsweise in bezug auf den Längssteg konvex gekrümmt, so daß es sich beim Eindrücken in den Spalt zwischen dessen Innenwände und das mittlere Verankerungsstegepaar einklemmt. Dadurch stützen sich die Querstege gegenseitig ab und man erhält eine größere Kontaktfläche Innenwand/Dichtungsprofil. Die Verankerung kann noch gesteigert werden, wenn die den oberen Deckstegen abgewandten Unterseiten der (3,3') und/oder (4,4') Verankerungsstege mit parallel zur Profillängsrichtung verlaufenden Rillen versehen sind. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Konstruktion ist es ferner vorteilhaft, wenn der Abstand a zwischen dem Ansatz der Deckstege am Längssteg und dem Ansatz der mittleren Verankerungsstege am Längssteg größer ist als der Abstand (b) zwischen dem Ansatz der unteren Verankerungsstege am Längssteg und dem Ansatz der mittleren Verankerungsstege aus Längssteg. Die Länge (c) der unteren Verankerungsstege (4,4') ist mindestens gleich der Länge (d) der mittleren Verankerungsstege.
