2 verfügbar sind. Die Erfindung ist aber nicht auf diese Ausbildung beschränkt
sondern umfaßt auch Ausführungen, bei denen der Besenkörper 1 in allen
Richtungen von in seitlicher Richtung überstehenden Borsten der
Borstenbestückung 2 umschlossen ist. Eine solche Ausbildung ist in Figur 2 in
quergeschnittener Darstellung wiedergegeben. Die darin enthaltene, die
Borstenbestückung 2 aufweisende Tragschicht 4 ist auf eine Zwischenplatte 5
aufgespannt, die auf dem ganzen Umfang in Richtung des Randes des
Besenkörpers 1 hochgezogen und im mittleren Bereich konvex ausgebildet ist.
Die Borsten der Borstenbestückung 2 stehen dadurch nicht nur analog Figur 1
in Längsrichtung über die beiden Enden des Besenkörpers 1 vor sondern
zusätzlich beiderseits in seitlicher Richtung über die äußere Begrenzung des
Besenkörpers 1 um das Maß B. Auch bei dieser Ausführung ist die Tragschicht
4 in ebener Form erzeugt und nachträglich durch Aufspannen auf die
Zwischenplatte 5 in die gezeigte Form überführt. Die Tragschicht 4 ist
formschlüssig an der Zwischenplatte 5 festgelegt. Zu diesem Zwecke ist sie
oberseitig mit sich parallel zu ihrer Längsrichtung erstreckenden Vorsprüngen
7 von T-förmigem Profil versehen, wobei die Vorsprünge 7 in ihrem Querschnitt
entsprechende, nach unten offene Aufnahmen der Zwischenplatte 5 eingefügt
sind. Die Zwischenplatte 5 besteht aus Polypropylen. Sie ist mit vier nach oben
stehenden Haltelaschen 8 versehen, die mit entsprechenden, den Besenkörper
1 in Querrichtung durchdringenden Öffnungen 6 in Deckung bringbar und
gemeinsam mit diesen von Haltebolzen 9 durchdrungen sind. Die Haltebolzen
9 sind leicht entfernbar, was gestattet, die Borstenbestückung 2 nach

- A rubber brush according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that, in the central region, the underside is formed by an independently produced intermediate plate (5) which can be introduced into an opening (6) of the brush body (1) and which connects the brush body (1) and the carrying layer (4) to one another.
- A rubber brush according to claim 4, characterized in that, on the top side, the carrying layer (4) is provided with protrusions (7) which extend parallel to the longitudinal direction of the carrying layer and are of T-shaped profile, and in that the protrusions (7) are introduced into mounts in the intermediate plate (5) which correspond to the cross section of the protrusions and are open in the downward direction.
- A rubber brush according to claim 5, characterized in that the intermediate plate (5) has at least two upwardly projecting retaining lugs (8) which can be made to coincide with corresponding openings (6), passing through the brush body (1) in the transverse direction, and, together with said openings, have retaining pins (9) passing through them.
- A rubber brush according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the bristle covering (2) comprises bristles which, in a projecting region, have a profile with polygonal, X-shaped or Y-shaped cross section.
- A rubber brush according to claim 7, characterized in that the bristle covering (2) comprises bristles which, in a non-projecting region, have a profile with a round cross section and, in the projecting region, have a profile with polygonal, X-shaped or Y-shaped cross section.
- A rubber brush according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the bristles located in the region of the ends of the brush body (1) extend beyond the end of the brush body (1) by the distance A and the bristles in the region of the lateral outer boundaries extend beyond the latter on both sides by the distance B, B being less than A.
