Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wartezeitvorhersagesystem zur Visualisierung von Wartezeiten bis zum Eintreffen mindestens eines Fahrzeuges (2), insbesondere des Öffentlichen Personen-Nah-Verkehrs, an mindestens einer Haltestelle (5). Zur Minimierung des Hardware-/Software-Aufwandes sind folgende Baugruppen vorgesehen:
  • eine erste Einrichtung zur Ermittlung von Positionsdaten des Fahrezuges (2),
  • eine zweite Einrichtung zur Berechnung der zu erwartenden, verbleibenden Fahrzeit bis zum Eintreffen des Fahrzeuges (2) an der Haltestelle (5) auf der Grundlage der ermittelten Positionsdaten es Fahrzeuges (2) und der bekannten Koordinaten der Haltestele (5) und
  • erste und zweite Ubertragungsmittel zur Informationsübertragung von der ersten zur zweiten Einrichtung und von der zweiten Einrichtung zu einem Haltestellendisplay (4), wobei das Haltestellendisplay (4) durch die zweiten Übertragungsmittel zur Visualisierung der Wartezeit ansteuerbar ist.
