Abstract
Description
The invention is directed to an articulated arm awning with at least two Articulated arms, each articulated arm having an inner and an outer Articulated arm section includes which are connected to one another via a swivel joint are, between the inner and outer articulated arm portion a gas spring is arranged that the articulated arm in the direction of a stretched position. Such an articulated arm awning is known for example from DE 296 12 532 U1.
With articulated arm awnings of the type in question, an awning can be The easier it is to extend, the higher the pressure applied by the gas springs Expressive tension in the downward movement of the awning is to which the gravity component acting in the extension direction is added.
The opposite is true when winding up the awning against this expressive tension and to apply a force against this component of gravity that it is difficult to wind up the awning cover.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is an articulated arm awning design with gas springs so that optimized balance of power when extending and retracting and an advantageous winding behavior of the awning fabric with high wind stability.
This object is achieved in that gas springs are used be that have such a force-displacement characteristic that the Spring force in the direction of extension is different than in the direction of entry, in particular lower.
It is advantageously provided that the characteristic curve is designed such that based on the fully extended condition of the awning Insertion force is initially very high, which on the one hand makes it very high Wind stability and on the other hand an optimal roll-up behavior in this Phase is reached. After a certain import route, the insertion force then gradually reduced.

8 Gelenkarme 9 in sogenannter Scherenausführung
The awning shown in the drawing has one on a house wall
or the like to be fastened support device 1, which with a
On the

The articulated
entsprechend dem Kennlinienteil 19 in Fig. 2.The gas springs 17 used have a force-displacement characteristic shown in FIG. 2
