Various problems can arise when using the belt lubricants described above, which have not or only partially been solved to date:
  • A high sensitivity to various ions that can be in the process water, such as carbonate and hydrogen carbonate ions, sulfate and alkaline earth metal ions, which can cause precipitation. This can result in precipitation or clouding, which can lead to blockage of the spray nozzles.
  • An insufficient biocidal effect, so that the conveyor belts can be infected by microorganisms.
  • Too strong a biocidal effect with the risk that the connected sewage treatment plants will be disturbed in their function.
  • Excessive foaming, which disrupts bottle inspection at the light barriers.

The object of the invention was now to provide a new lubricant preparation, in particular as a chain lubricant, to provide the disadvantages of above-mentioned prior art, i.e. such lubricants should have a good coefficient of friction, i.e. an excellent lubricating effect, a low foaming behavior, a good cleaning effect and a good one Have microbicidal activity.

The object is achieved by the lubricant according to the invention 1, the at least one secondary amine of formula I and / or at least one Salt of such an amine and / or at least one amide of the formula II and / or III or their salts.

Advantageous embodiments of the invention are in the subclaims contain.

Surprisingly, the lubricants according to the invention do not show that Disadvantages associated with the lubricants based on primary fatty amines are. This is all the more unexpected than even small amounts of the secondary Amines according to formula I or their salts have an excellent lubricating effect have.

Furthermore, it was also surprising that the lubricant was also based at least one amide of the formula II and / or the formula III even in small amounts Quantities, i.e. at 50 to 100 ppm has an excellent sliding effect.

The secondary amines of the invention have the following general formula: R 1 - NH - R 2 where the radicals R 1 and R 2 each independently have the following meaning:

is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl radical which has an alkyl radical having 1 to 20 C atoms as the substituent, and
R 2 :
is a polyglycol ether chain - [(CH 2 ) n -O] m -, which is formed by the addition of 2 to 20 mol (m = 2 to 20) ethylene and / or propylene glycol (n = 2 or 3). The length of a polyethylene glycol chain can also be characterized by the number of units that can be derived from ethylene oxide (EO), so that, for example, in the case of 9 ethylene glycol units (m = 9) the notation “9EO” is common. The polyglycol ether chain can also be unsubstituted or substituted, and can in particular be substituted with the following groups: -PO 3 H 2 , -SO 3 H, -aryl.

Aminopolyglycol ethers are offered by various manufacturers, e.g. Marlazin types from Hüls AG, genamine types from HOECHST AG; Ethomeen brands by AKZO. They are mainly used as emulsifiers and as corrosion inhibitors used. However, these commercial products mainly exist (in some cases exclusively) from tertiary amines. The formation of the Secondary isomers are avoided by appropriate measures as far as possible prevented because they are for the known industrial applications of this Group of products undesirable or less powerful than the corresponding ones are tertiary aminopolyglycol ethers.

In the relevant documents the proportion of primary and secondary amines therein expressly with <3% specified. An analysis of a representative number of patterns from various fatty amine ethoxylates from today's production and from various Manufacturers have given similar values.

EP 0 372 628 B1 mentions tertiary fatty amine polyglycol ethers as suitable additives (Dispersants) in belt lubricants. The corresponding secondary aminopolyglycol ethers are not mentioned.

The present invention will now be explained in more detail using the following examples become.

BeispieleExamples

General test conditions:
  • Bottle transport speed: approx. 1 m / s
  • 5 bottles filled with water for a total weight of 3.6 kg
  • Spray cycle: 20 s spray, 20 s pause
  • Spray rate: 5 l / h per segment row

zu viel Schaum, störend.
The foaming behavior was assessed as follows:
0 =
no foam on the belt
1 =
Formation of a "foam beard" at the tape outlet from the bottle = optimal

From practice it is known that friction coefficients of ≤ 0.16 for the Operation of high-performance bottle conveyor belts are sufficient.

The examples according to the invention therefore show that amines of the general Formula I and / or amides of the general formulas II and III already in concentrations A sufficient effect of only 50 ppm with optimal foaming behavior exhibit. The amines or amides according to the invention are also Insensitive to water hardness, both in terms of effectiveness and solubility and foaming behavior.

Vergl.-Bsp. 2A, Reibungskoeffizient 0,14).The listed, commercially available lubricants (comparative tests 1 to 4) on the other hand, only work from a concentration of 150 ppm and only with soft water (e.g. Comp. Ex. 2A, coefficient of friction 0.14).

The lubricating effect of amines according to DE 43 15 271 A1 (comp. Ex. 5 and 6) in a concentration of 50 ppm is better than that in the other comparative examples used formulations of the same concentration (Comparative Examples 8A-8B and 9A-9B. Coefficients of friction = 0.55 - 0.35), but such amines are sufficient for use on high-performance conveyor belts (Coefficient of friction = 0.30) in this concentration.
