Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zur variablen Ventilsteuerung für eine Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere zur Steuerung von zwei Einlaßventilen (7a,7b) pro Zylinder, umfaßt eine erste Nockenwelle (2), auf der ein Einlaß-Öffnet-Nocken (4a) zur Steuerung der Öffnungsfunktion des Einlaßventils (7a) sowie ein Auslaßnocken (6) zur Steuerung des Auslaßventils (8) angeordnet ist, eine zweite Nockenwelle (3), auf der ein Einlaß-Schließt-Nocken (5a) zur Steuerung der Schließfunktion des Einlaßventils (7a) angeordnet ist, einen Einlaß-Übertragungshebel (9) zur Übertragung der Stellbewegung des Einlaß-Öffnet-Nockens (4a) und des Einlaß-Schließt-Nockens (5a) auf das Einlaßventil (7a), einen Auslaß-Übertragungshebel (10) zur Übertragung der Stellbewegung des Auslaßnockens (6) auf das Auslaßventil (8), und eine Einrichtung zur Änderung der Phasenlage zwischen den beiden Nockenwellen.
Um eine klein bauende Vorrichtung mit hoher Funktionssicherheit auszubilden ist vorgesehen, daß in Richtung der Längsachse der Nockenwelle (2) gesehen beidseitig des Auslaßnockens (6) jeweils ein Einlaß-Öffnet-Nocken (4a,4b) auf der ersten Nockenwelle (2) angeordnet ist.
