Definitions
- the present invention relates to a sports shoe, in particular for gliding boards such as skiing, surf, or skating shoe, having on the one hand a rigid core constituting, in certain areas, the face inside of the shoe which receives a slipper, and on the other hand an envelope of flexible material covering the rigid core and itself constituting the inside of the shoe in areas where the core rigid is absent.
- Patent FR 2,119,653 describes a ski boot which includes a rigid inner part and a part flexible exterior.
- the rigid inner part of this shoe has the shape of a continuous shell intended for completely surround the skier's foot and the part exterior, resistant to wear and abrasion, is intended to protect the inner part of the shoe.
- US Patent 5,588,228 describes a ski boot comprising a rigid core cut so as to form a rigid structure triangulated in two parts, of which one part forms the shell of the shoe and the other part of the shoe collar.
- This rigid soul of the shoe is covered by a flexible envelope, the attachment between the core and the flexible envelope is doing during injection or by means mechanical.
- the rigid frames of the shoe constitute a triangular rigid structure whose role is an optimal transmission of forces between the leg and fixation.
- the rigid triangulated soul of the shell has the general shape of an inverted "Y", one of which of the branches is directed towards the front of the shoe, the other branch is directed towards the heel of the shoe and the foot of the "Y" is connected to the collar of the shoe. The efforts are thus distributed over the front of the shoe and on his heel, which are the places where the boot is also attached to the skis in the case of a ski boot.
- the aim of the present invention is to improve the sports shoes known in the state of technical.
- the object of the present invention is more particularly to improve a shoe whose rigid core is directly in contact with the liner increasing the transmitted forces and improving the accuracy of the guidance.
- the shoe according to the invention is a shoe with high rigidity, competitive type, whose rigid core is in direct contact with the liner surrounding the user's foot. It is characterized in that the rigid core includes reinforcing means which do not are not covered by the flexible material envelope.
- the shoe according to the invention is distinguished from prior art footwear in that it comprises three different zones, namely a flexible zone, a rigid zone and a rigid and reinforced zone.
- the reinforcing means are placed at the places of the shoe transmitting significant forces and they form a general guy structure improving rear support and transmission of forces lateral. Depending on their location on the shoe, the reinforcing means can also have a protective effect of it.
- the means of reinforcement include reinforcement on the back of the collar and a reinforcement on the back of the shell of the shoe.
- the means of reinforcement further include a strip of diagonal reinforcement on at least one side of the shoe.
- the reinforcing strip is composed of two parts, one of which is located on the hull and the other on the shoe collar
- the reinforcement means include a strip of diagonal reinforcement on each side of the shoe.
- the shoe includes a reinforcement on at least one of the front sides of the shell of the shoe forming a deflector of stakes.
- the means of reinforcement further comprises a damping element vibrations.
- the shoe is a monobloc type shoe.
- the flexible material envelope creates zones of articulation on the shoe.
- the invention also relates to a method of manufacture of a shoe. According to a first mode of execution of the process, the rigid core and the envelope flexible material are manufactured separately and assembled by embedding the two parts.
- the core rigid and the flexible material envelope are assembled by overmolding.
- Figure 1 is a perspective side view of the core rigid shoe according to the invention.
- Figure 2 is a rear perspective view of the core rigid shoe according to the invention.
- Figure 3 is a perspective side view of a shoe according to the invention whose soul is covered by the flexible material envelope.
- Figure 4 is a rear perspective view of a shoe according to the invention whose soul is covered by the flexible material envelope.
- This core consists of an openwork shell 1 intended for bear and transmit the efforts of the foot of the skier to ski and a collar 2 articulated on the shell 1 and supporting the skier's ankle.
- Hull 1 further includes two side reinforcements 4 and 9, one rear reinforcement 5 placed at heel height, and two front reinforcements 3 and 8. Front reinforcements 3 and 8 are used in particular as stake deflectors and protect the shell of the shoe during shocks against slalom poles, for example.
- the reinforcements side 4, 9 and the rear reinforcement 5 of the shell 1 are extended on the collar 2 by reinforcements correspondents 6, 10 and 7.
- the lateral reinforcements 4, 6, 9 and 10 form a diagonal band on each side of the shoe which increases the lateral stiffness of the shoe.
- the rear reinforcements 5 and 7 allow as for them to stiffen the support on the heel of the skier and they are extended by the sole of the shoe.
- FIGS. 1 and 2 constitute the most rigid part of the shoe and the reinforcements form stay cables which, thanks to their tensile strength, improve rear support by the shoe.
- the position of these shrouds on the faces side of the shoe allows good distribution efforts and increases the precision of the guidance of the shoe.
- the longitudinal forces are mainly taken up by the rear reinforcements 5, 7 and also by the side reinforcements 4, 6, 9, 10, and the lateral forces by lateral reinforcements 4 and 6 or 9 and 10.
- Figures 3 and 4 show two views of a shoe whose shell 1 and collar 2 are partially covered by the material envelopes flexible 11 and 12.
- the lateral reinforcements 4, 9, 6, 10 and rear 5, 7 are not covered by the envelopes in flexible material. They are therefore visible and are hatched in the figures.
- the flexible parts 11, 12 cover the top of the foot and the front of the leg of the user, parts of the shoe which have not need to be as rigid as the rest of the shoe.
- the buckles used to close the shoe are not not shown in the figures. These loops are from classic type and they are fixed to the rigid part of the shoe.
- the shoe is made with the materials usual, for example polyurethane with a hardness of 64 shD for the rigid part and 50 shD for the envelope in flexible material.
- Reinforcement means can be formed during molding of the shell 1 and of the collar 2 by providing a excess material at the locations determined in the mold. Reinforcement means can also be fixed after molding by fixing means mechanical, such as screws or other means equivalent. Thus, in the event of premature wear, especially for front deflectors, reinforcements could be changed. Likewise, different reinforcements lateral with different rigidities could be designed so that the user of the shoe has the choice between several models and can change them or adjust them. Reinforcement means not being covered by the flexible part 11 and 12, their change or replacement is facilitated.
- shock absorbing elements vibration have been described in detail in patent FR 2 706 741 in the name of the applicant. They consist mainly of a viscoelastic material associated with a rigid restraint, the restraint being attached to the reinforcing means by through the viscoelastic material.
- the rigid constraint part has a modulus of elasticity E greater than 10 4 MPa and its material is chosen from the group containing aluminum or aluminum-zinc alloys, magnesium, thermosetting laminated materials reinforced with glass fibers or carbon and thermoplastic materials reinforced with glass fibers or carbon.
- the viscoelastic material is for example a butyl rubber or a synthetic elastomer, used alone, as a mixture, or else charged.
- the invention can also be applied to shoes mono-block sports in which the hull and necklace form one piece. Means of reinforcement similar to those described above can be provided on such mono-block shoes so as to constitute this particular structure in guy line. In such mono-block shoes, the axis articulation between the shell and the collar is replaced by the flexible material shell which creates articulation zones.
- the rigid core and the flexible material envelope are manufactured by conventional state of the art processes techniques such as injection or multi-injection.
- rigid core and material shell flexible are produced separately from each other and they are then assembled by embedding a part over the other.
- the rigid core and the envelope of flexible material are assembled by overmolding.
