Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un terpolymère d'éthylène, une α-oléfine et un diène, ce procédé consistant à utiliser un complexe d'un métal de transition et un co-catalyseur. L'invention se caractérise en ce que la polymérisation est effectuée à l'aide d'un complexe d'un métal de transition consistant en un complexe d'un métal de transition à balance réduite choisi dans les groupes 4 à 6 de la table périodique des éléments, avec un ligand monoanionique multidenté et avec deux ligands monoanioniques, à une température comprise entre -10 et 220 °C. En particulier, le métal de transition réduit dans le complexe est le titane (Ti).
