Über der Einbuchtung 13 ist eine Abdeckung 6 vorgesehen, welche mittels eines Kunststoffilmscharniers 7 mit dem Gehäuse 1 beweglich verbunden ist und durch die Einrastmittel 9 und 10 am Gehäuse 1 arretiert wird. Die Einrastmittel 9 und 10 weisen jeweils einen Haken an der Abdeckung 6 und eine Einraststelle an der Gehäuseaußenseite 1.2 auf. Das Einrastmittel 9 dient insbesondere zur Entlastung des Kunststoffilmscharniers 7. Außerdem weist die Abdeckung 6 Stützstege 8 auf, die den Leiter 5 in die Klemmen 4.1 und schneiden 4.2 eindrücken und danach ein Abgleiten verhindern. Der Leiter 5 besteht aus einem elektrisch leitenden Kern 5.1 und einer Isolation 5.2. Der Leiter 5 wird bei geöffneter Abdeckung 6 in die Öffnung 11 der Abdeckung 6 eingeführt und dann beim Schließen der Abdeckung 6 in einem Arbeitsgang gleichzeitig mittels der Stützstege 8 in die Schneiden 4.2 und Klemmen 4.1 eingepreßt. Claims (8)

  1. Housing (1) for accommodating a printed circuit board (2), wherein the printed circuit board (2) comprises an electrical terminal zone (3) and the housing comprises an insulation displacement device (4) for electrically connecting an insulated conductor (5) to the terminal zone, wherein the insulation displacement device (4) comprises metallic cutting edges (4.2), disposed on a base body (4.3), for severing the insulation (5.2) of the conductor (5) and simultaneously establishing an electrical connection through clamping of the conductor (5), characterised in that
    a) the insulation displacement device (4) is disposed outside of the housing (1) such that the base body (4.3) of the insulation displacement device (4) lies with its underside against the surface of the outside (1.2) of the housing,
    b) there is provided on the base body (4.3) an electrically conductive contact pin (4.4), passing through the housing (1) to the inside (1.1) thereof and
    c) the contact pin (4.4) can be connected to the printed circuit board (2) in the interior of the housing (1).
  2. Housing according to Claim 1, characterised in that the housing (1) is made of a plastics material and the contact pin (4.4) is integrated into the housing (1) when the latter is produced, in particular injection moulded with the plastics material.
  3. Housing according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the printed circuit board (2) comprises an opening in the electrical terminal zone (3) in which the contact pin (4.4) is secured to the inner surface of the opening in the terminal zone (3) of the printed circuit board (2) and connected in electrically conductive manner.
  4. Housing according to any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the insulation displacement device (4) comprises additional retaining clamps without a cutting edge (4.1), the clamp opening of which is dimensioned according to the diameter of the conductor (5) such that, although the insulated conductor is secured, its insulation (5.2) is not harmed.
  5. Housing according to any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that,
    in order to connect flat strip conductors with a plurality of conductors (5) which are disposed parallel to one another, yet electrically insulated from one another,
    a corresponding number of insulation displacement devices (4) are provided which are disposed parallel to one another, yet electrically insulated from one another, wherein the cutting edges (4.2) of an insulation displacement device in each case sever the insulation (5.2) of precisely one conductor (5) and therefore contact this electrically,
    at least one contact pin (4.4) in each case leads from the insulation displacement device (4) to a respective electrical terminal zone (3) on the printed circuit board (2),
    however a retaining-clamping device which extends over the entire width of the flat strip conductor is provided for all conductors of the flat strip conductor, which device pushes the conductors into the cutting edges (4.2) on one side and secures them on the other.
  6. Housing according to any one of the preceding Claims, characterised in that the housing comprises a recess (13) in which the required number of insulation displacement devices (4.4) are disposed and which comprises a stop to which the conductors can only be applied such that these are then aligned relative to the respective associated insulation displacement devices.
  7. Housing according to Claim 6, characterised in that this comprises a cover (6) for the recess (13) which is preferably identical with the retaining-clamping device and which comprises lock-in means (9, 10) for securing it to the housing.
  8. Use of a housing according to any one of the preceding Claims for connecting printed circuit boards (2) in protective housings with particularly exacting insulation requirements, in particular watertight or vacuum or pressurised housings.
