Abstract

A slat grid (2) comprises an upper and a lower layer of transverse slats (3) spaced adjacent each other, and elongate, rubber-elastic support structures (4) between the slat layers. The upper and lower surface of said support structures have receiving brackets (5) into which or through which the slats (3) pass. To produce a slat frame which is comfortable to lie on, the actual support structures (4) form the receiving lugs (5) for the slats (3), which brackets (5) are integral with their own profiled portions (9) projecting up and down from an elongate central section (7) of the support structure (4).

Description

LattenrostSlatted frame
The invention relates to a slatted frame consisting of an upper and a lower layer of transverse slats, spaced side by side and longitudinal, rubber-elastic supporting bodies inserted between the slat layers, which have receiving tabs on the top and bottom for inserting or pushing through the slats exhibit.
Slatted frames with two slatted layers arranged one above the other have already proven themselves well as bed inlays for receiving a mattress or the like because of their spring characteristics which can be tuned within relatively wide ranges, so far the rubber-elastic supporting bodies between the slat layers consist of lengthwise continuous prismatic elastic bodies which are surrounded by a receiving pocket for the slats or the like forming the slats on the top and bottom (AT-B 394 937). These support bodies are therefore relatively complex and lead to a continuous support surface for the adjacent wooden slats, so that the adjacent slats mutually influence one another when loaded, whereby the adaptation of the load-induced restoring forces to the respective body of a Resting, especially in the area of higher local loads in the pelvic and shoulder areas, remains unsatisfactory.
It has also already been proposed to combine the slats of the two slat layers arranged one above the other in pairs by means of individual spring-elastic molded bodies, the two slats engaging in a form-fitting manner in each of the molded body receiving tabs connected to one another via spacer rings (DE-GM G 84 07 599.6) or insert into recesses of block-shaped moldings (AT-B 393 210), but a large number of individual fittings are required here and the slats must also be secured in position on the bed frame or the fittings must be connected to one another using retaining straps. The handling of these gratings is quite cumbersome and due to the rigid construction of the individual molded bodies, which is necessary due to the safety against tipping, it is hardly possible to achieve a sufficient positional adjustment of the slats to the body contour of a person at rest.
The invention is therefore based on the object of eliminating these deficiencies and of creating a slatted frame of the type described at the outset, which is distinguished by its low-effort production and simple handling and above all by its far-reaching and sensitive adaptability and support effect.
The invention solves this problem in that the supporting bodies themselves form the receiving tabs for the slats in a manner known per se, the receiving tabs being molded onto their own profile parts which project upwards and downwards from an elongated central piece of the supporting body. These support bodies can in principle be produced in any length and result in the mutual support of the two superposed slat layers as well as the cohesion of the entire slatted frame, which can thus be handled like a so-called roller grate. To complete the grate, the individual slats only need to be pushed through the receiving tabs of the support body, so that at the same time there is also an individual adjustment possibility of the support effect by the respective positioning of the support body along the slats. There are at least two support bodies on the two Long sides required for perfect slat support, but usually three or four longitudinally extending support bodies are used to match the suspension characteristics to the respective conditions. Due to the shaping of the receiving tabs on a separate profile part of the support body, each slat is supported to a certain extent individually and leaves the neighboring slats largely unaffected under load, which leads to an orthopedically correct support effect for the resting body. The support bodies are expediently made of natural rubber, and they can form hollow cylindrical profile parts which are axially parallel to the receiving tabs and preferably have a central piece which has the same holes in order to influence the elasticity properties of the support bodies in a material-saving and targeted manner.
If the supporting bodies are composed lengthwise of individual supporting body pieces, which in the end regions form overlapping connecting lugs with aligned receiving lug parts for jointly holding a crossbar in each case, unwieldy long supporting bodies can be avoided and the supporting bodies in any desired length made up of shorter individual ones Line up sections. These support body pieces enable efficient series production and the most varied slatted frames can then be assembled with one and the same support body pieces. The connecting approaches allow a simple and reliable connection, which results automatically by inserting the slats through the mounting bracket parts. The profiled structure of the support body also makes it easy to cut the support body and, in exceptional cases, to produce appropriate supplementary pieces for non-standard bed formats.
It is particularly advantageous if the receiving tabs on the upper side are offset from the receiving tabs on the underside and, if appropriate, the supporting body pieces have the connecting lugs on one side on the upper side and on the other side on the underside, since this achieves an equalization of the loads and the individual support effect of the individual slats can be improved. In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated purely schematically on the basis of an exemplary embodiment, namely that FIGS. 1 and 2 show part of a slatted base according to the invention in plan view or in cross section along the line II-II of FIG. 1 and FIGS. 3 and 4 a support body piece of this slatted frame in side view or
Untersicht größeren Maßstabes.View from a larger scale.
A slatted frame 2 inserted in a bed frame 1, which is only indicated, consists of an upper and a lower layer of transverse wooden slats 3, spaced side by side and inserted between the slat layers, arranged in three longitudinal rows of rubber-elastic support bodies 4. These support bodies 4 extend over the entire length of the slatted frame on the top and underside receiving tabs 5 for inserting or pushing through the wooden slats 3 and are each composed of several, for example eight, support body pieces 6.
As indicated in particular in FIGS. 3 and 4, a support body piece 6 comprises an elongated central piece 7 with a number of holes 8 and on the top and bottom in a number of individually projecting hollow cylindrical profile parts 9 corresponding to the receiving tabs 5, each of which has one Recording tab 5 is formed. The profile parts 9 and the receiving tabs 5 of the upper side are offset from those of the underside and for mutual connection the supporting body pieces in the end regions form connecting lugs 10 with half supporting body width corresponding, laterally offset receiving tab parts 11. When assembled, they overlap Connection lugs 10 to one another and the slats inserted through the aligned receiving lug parts 11 also result in the fixed connection of the abutting support body pieces 6.
The support body 4 can be designed in different ways due to their composition of individual pieces and can also be combined with suitable special end pieces, so that any slatted frames can be produced in a rational manner. As indicated in FIG. 2, the receiving tabs 51 of the edge-side support body 41 can have covers 12 on the outside in order to prevent the slats 3 from migrating sideways due to support movements and the like. to prevent. This cover 12 can also be produced in the form of a web but also as a closed cap at the same time as the supporting bodies are being produced.
The special design of the support body 4 creates a rationally producible and easy-to-use slatted frame which is distinguished by its adaptability and its special lying comfort.
