Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Vermeidung oder Verminderung trompetenförmiger Aufweitungen am Rohrende beim Schrägwalzen dünnwandiger Rohre auf einem Asselwalzwerk. Dabei wird beim Einlauf des vorderen Hohlblockbereiches in das Asselwalzwerk die radiale Umformung der Luppe gegenüber dem stationären Walz-Zustand verkleinert und/oder das Widerstandsmoment des Luppenquerschnitts am Kopfende durch Verringerung des tangentialen Werkstoffflusses erhöht. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.
