Claims (16)
- Rotating brush for the surface treatment of workpieces, having a brush fitting (5), which is clamped in between two interconnected clamping disks (1, 2) and supported on a substantially cylindrical holding element formed by the latter,

- Brush according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the engagement connection between the axial collars (3, 4) of the two clamping disks (1, 2) is formed by a close-tolerance and/or clamping connection.
- Brush according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the engagement connection between the axial collars (3, 4) of the two clamping disks (1, 2) takes the form of a releasable connection.
- Brush according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the engagement connection between the axial collars (3, 4) of the two clamping disks (1, 2) is formed and/or secured by means of adhesive, which is applied onto at least one of the mutually cooperating peripheral surfaces of the axial collars (3, 4).
- Brush according to claim 4, characterized in that the close-tolerance and/or clamping connection between the axial collars (3, 4) is formed in that at least one of the axial collars (3 or 4) at its peripheral surface cooperating with the other axial collar (4 or 3) has raised portions, particularly in the form of axial ribs (8).
- Brush according to claim 7, characterized in that the axial ribs (8) are provided at the outer peripheral surface of the smaller-diameter axial collar (3).
- Brush according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that at least two axial ribs (8) are provided.
- Brush according to one of claims 7 - 9, characterized in that the axial ribs (8) are disposed at an identical peripheral distance from one another.
- Brush according to one of claims 7 - 10, characterized in that the axial ribs (8) are bevelled at their front free end face (9).
- Brush according to one of claims 7 - 11, characterized in that the axial collar (4) receiving the axial ribs (8) of the other axial collar (3) is bevelled at its front end face (10).
- Brush according to one of claims 7 - 12, characterized in that the axial collar (4) receiving the axial ribs (8) carries at its front end an annular bead (11) which, when the clamping disks (1, 2) are fastened to one another, engages in a locking manner behind the axial ribs (8) of the other axial collar (3), which are designed with a predetermined length.
- Brush according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the larger-diameter axial collar (4) at its outer peripheral surface carries axially extending longitudinal ribs (12) for non-slip support of the brush fitting (5).
- Brush according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the clamping disks (1, 2) are made of glass fibre reinforced plastic material.
