Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an end position damped working cylinder which can be used in all fields of fluid technology in which working cylinders have to be damped in the end positions.
Systems are known in which the main piston of a working cylinder is braked at the respective stroke end by reducing the flow cross-section for the flowing fluid flow, often supplemented by an externally adjustable throttle. In terms of design, the most varied variants are implemented. They can be divided into systems which have the throttled discharge cross section in fixed parts of the working cylinder or those in which the throttling discharge cross section is present in moving parts thereof. The damping basically aims at braking the entire kinetic energy of the moving parts of the working cylinder with the aim of keeping the impact energy as low as the respective application allows. The function of the reduction in cross-section as the piston moves towards the end positions - from the moment the damping is initiated - determines the character of the latter. Damping systems are known which abruptly close the outflow cross-section and direct the outflow over the throttled cross-section, or also those in which the damping course takes place progressively in the sense of a gradual adaptation to the state of the piston at rest, the throttled cross-section as the piston continues to move is gradually reduced.
The following publications support this statement:
The publication DE-OS 1925166 refers to the state of the art with reference to the publication DE-AS 1256296, in which a special damping element is described, in which the piston presses the pressure medium through a narrow gap and thus pressure-controlled dampens the movement of the piston .
Also described is a non-return valve in the piston and outlet openings with a small cross-section in the jacket of the cylinder, which the piston passes over in part. A special location-controlled contour function is implemented, which is optimally proportional to the square of the stroke in the outlet cross-section.
In the document DE-G 6943765 an outlet opening for pressure medium before the end of the cylinder for damping is described, the outlet opening merges into the connecting piece. An annular gap, which is formed by an undersized ring with free space behind it and the cylinder, acts as a pressure-controlled damping element. There is also an annular channel in the piston and a check valve between the annular channel and the cylinder space within the piston for direction-dependent control.
Damping by a throttle valve in the pressure medium outlet is known according to DE-OS 2206410, into which an extension of the piston occurs and a check valve in the piston itself. According to the invention, the damping is achieved here by a special shape of the piston, in which an undersized ring with Subsequent free space forms an annular space with the cylinder. The outlet of the pressure medium from this is throttled and the damping area corresponds to the piston area.
The publication US 4207800 achieves damping with the aid of a special piston ring, which sits at the end of the piston, is axially somewhat displaceable and somewhat undersized, as a result of which a check valve is formed by the surface of the ring broken on one side, and the compression of the pressure medium in the cylinder space results in pressure-controlled damping an annular gap is achieved.
An equally simple damping is described in US 4425836. Here the damping is achieved by an annular groove located between the piston and the cylinder. It is a function of the position in this way, since the closer the piston is to the end, the longer the effective spiral.
In document DE-G 9418042.3, a residual cylinder space with an attenuator is embodied within a second pressure medium bore, which acts directly as an attenuation element. Overlapping is also pressure-controlled damping by means of the annular gap in the area of the undersized piston ring and position-controlled damping by the effective length of the spiral groove which increases towards the end. In this case, the spiral groove is made in the range of motion of the piston ring.
A disadvantage of all the variants listed is the high level of design effort required to achieve a to achieve a smooth deceleration of the moving masses. A structurally simple one Possibility to adjust the damping according to a specific application is not before.

In order to achieve the desired damping effect - while maintaining the required operating force - p 2 must be increased.
This is done by:

The object of the invention is to develop an end position damped working cylinder, which eliminates the disadvantages of the prior art by the technical and constructive Effort to ensure the damping and the application-related adjustment the damping, is simple.

geringem konstruktiven Aufwand erschlossen.
21 eingelagert.According to Figure 1, a
