Claims (3)

  1. Kokille für das Stranggiessen von Metallen in Form von Brammen, bestehend aus einem Zusammenbau von vier metallischen Platten, darunter zwei grosse (13) und zwei kleine (14), die jeweils in ihrem Inneren ausgebildete senkrecht verlaufende Kanäle aufweisen, die zur Zirkulation eines Kühlfluids dienen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass wenigstens die grossen Platten (13) zusätzlich jeweils in ihrem oberen Abschnitt zwei waagrechte Kanäle (6a, 6b) für die Zirkulation eines Kühlfluids aufweisen, die durch eine Trennwand (7) voneinander getrennt sind, deren entsprechende Zulauföffnungen (8a 8b ) beide in unmittelbarer Nähe der Mittenebene der Platte angeordnet sind und deren entsprechende Ablauföffnungen (8'a, 8'b) jeweils auf einer Seite (9) oder in unmittelbarer Nähe einer der Seiten der Platte (1) angeordnet sind.
  2. Kokille nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die kleinen Platten (14) jeweils einen waagrechten Kanal aufweisen, der mit einer Zulauföffnung (18) versehen ist, die auf der Mittenachse der Platte (14) angeordnet ist, sowie mit zwei Ablauföffnungen (17, 17'), die jeweils auf einer Seite oder in unmittelbarer Nähe einer der Seiten der Platte (14) angeordnet sind.
  3. Kokille nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie mit einem oberhalb angeordneten Aufsatz (12) aus feuerfestem Material versehen ist.
