Abstract

Um ein Hochleistungs-Heizelement für industrielle Zwecke mit einem Mantel aus Metall und in diesem Mantel gegen den Mantel elektrisch isoliert angeordnetem elektrischen Heizleiter mit nach außen geführtem Anschluß, insbesondere Heizband, vorzugsweise zum Einsatz bei Kunststoffspritzmaschinen, zu schaffen, welches in einfacher Weise auch in großen Längen und Durchmessern hergestellt werden kann, wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Isolierung aus einem einschichtigen oder mehrschichtigen Keramikfaservlies (4,6) oder Keramikfaserpapier besteht und daß das Kermaikfaservlies (4,6) oder Keramikfaserpapier zwischen den Mantelflächen (2,3) des Mantels verdichtet im Heizelement (1) angeordnet ist.
