Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniformly heat the surface metal plate of a cooking hot plate and to improve the temperature control responsiveness of cooking surface of the hot plate, by having a heating plate body held in the hot plate and then having a temperature sensor abutted upon the surface metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A heating plate body 1 has its upper and lower parts held between insulating layers 2, each made of mica or ceramic paper, and the heating plate body 1 and each of the insulating layers 2 are both brought into pressure contact with or welded to each other by a surface metal plate 3 for internally holding the heating plate body 1 and the insulating layers 2 between the surface metal plate 3 and a back metal plate 4 in association with each other. And the back metal plate 4 has a hole 5 bored in its center to abut a temperature sensor 6 upon the surface metal plate 3. Since a cooking hot plat thus holds the heating plate body 1 internally, it may have its excellent temperature distribution even with its thin wall while since the temperature sensor may directly detect a plate surface temperature to control the plate surface temperature, the cooking plate may be obtained with quick heat response at the time of putting a cooking thing therein and with a low temperature drop.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the structure using the sheathed heater described above, (1) uneven heating occurs in the pattern of the sheathed heater. To eliminate uneven heating, the aluminum die-cast or aluminum plate must be made thicker, which increases the overall thickness of the hot plate, making it expensive.

In the configuration described above, when electricity is applied to the planar heating element 1, it generates heat and uniformly heats the metal plate 3.4. The metal plate 3 on the surface of the casing is made of aluminum alloy with good heat conductivity, and since the temperature sensor 6 is in direct contact with this, the temperature control response of the cooking surface is improved. Furthermore, since the metal plate 4 on the back surface is made of iron-based metal with a relatively large heat capacity, the temperature drop on the cooking surface is reduced when cooking food with a large heat capacity.

Effects of the Invention As is clear from the above description, since the cooking plate of the present invention includes a planar heating element, a cooking plate with good temperature distribution can be obtained even with a thin wall thickness. In addition, the temperature sensor is brought into contact with the surface plate of the cooking plate, where there is no planar heating element or insulating layer, on the back surface of the cooking plate at approximately the center, and the cooking surface temperature is directly detected and controlled, so the thermal response of the plate is controlled. To obtain a cooking plate that has good properties and reduces temperature drop when food is placed therein. Furthermore, since the heater uses a lath mesh planar heating element, the amount of material used is small and it can be manufactured at low cost.
