Auf jedes Rohrendenpaket ist jeweils ein Sammelkasten aufgesetzt, der mit seinen Seitenwandungen die durch die Schmalseiten der Rohrenden gebildete Flucht außen übergreift und bündig an dieser durch die Schmalseiten gebildeten Flucht anliegt. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß in wenigstens einem Sammelkasten wenigstens eine den Sammelkasten unterteilende Trennwand vorgesehen ist, die in ihrer Außenkontur derart auf eine Innenkontur einer Wandung des Sammelkastens abgestimmt ist, daß sie umlaufend dicht mit der Innenkontur verlötbar ist, und die einen Haltefuß zum Aufstecken der Trennwand auf zwei flächig aneinanderschließende Wandungsabschnitte benachbarter Rohrenden des Rohrendenpaketes aufweist. Durch das Vorsehen wenigstens einer Trennwand in einem der beiden Sammelkästen ist es möglich, das Strömungsmedium innerhalb des Rippen/Rohrblockes U-förmig umzuleiten, wodurch die Anschlüsse für die Zu- und die Ableitung des Strömungsmediums an lediglich einem der Wasserkästen vorgesehen sein kann. Die Sammelkästen weisen je nach ihrem Anschluß an den entsprechenden Strömungsmediumkreislauf Sammler- oder Verteilerfunktion auf. Als Strömungsmedium kann insbesondere Kühlflüssigkeit, Wasser oder Luft vorgesehen sein, wobei der Wärmeübertrager insbesondere als Kühlflüssigkeit/Luft- Wasser/Luft- oder Luft/Luft-Kühler gestaltet ist. In seiner letztgenannten Funktion stellt der Kühler einen Ladeluftkühler dar. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Lösung ist es möglich, auch in Sammelkästen, die ohne das Vorsehen eines zusätzlichen Rohrbodens direkt auf aufgeweitete Rohrenden des Rippen/Rohrblockes aufgesetzt sind, Unterteilungen mittels wenigstens einer Trennwand vorzusehen, was bei Wärmeübertragern mit Rohrböden grundsätzlich bereits bekannt war. Jedes Rohrende 5 ist zu einem rechteckigen, lichten Querschnitt aufgeweitet, wobei die benachbarten Rohrenden 5 jeweils mit ihren Breitseiten aneinander anschließen und die Schmalseiten der Rohrenden 5 aufgrund der Anordnung aller Rohrenden 5 in einer gemeinsamen Flucht bündig und fluchtend aneinander anschließen. Auf die Rohrenden 5 auf den gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Rippen/Rohrblockes F, W ist jeweils ein als Sammelkasten dienender Wasserkasten 1 aufgesetzt, wobei die Wasserkästen 1 jeweils als zum Rippen/Rohrblock F, W und zu ihren Stirnseiten hin offene, U-artige Profile gestaltet sind. Die beiden Wasserkästen auf den gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Rippen/Rohrblockes F, W weisen jeweils im wesentlichen das gleiche Profil auf. Im Bereich ihrer gegenüberliegenden Stirnseiten sind beide Wasserkästen durch entsprechende Fortsätze von Seitenteilen verschlossen, die den Rippen/Rohrblock F, W seitlich begrenzen und die Profile der Wasserkästen stirnseitig dicht abschließen. daß in wenigstens einem Sammelkasten (1) wenigstens eine den Sammelkasten (1) unterteilende Trennwand (4) vorgesehen ist, die in ihrer Außenkontur derart auf eine Innenkontur einer Wandung des Sammelkastens (1) abgestimmt ist, daß sie umlaufend dicht mit der Innenkontur verlötbar ist, und die einen Haltefuß (9) zum Aufstecken der Trennwand (4) auf zwei flächig aneinanderschließende Wandungsabschnitte (8) benachbarter Rohrenden (5) des Rohrendenpaketes aufweist.
