Description

The present invention relates to a framework of building made from cold sections forming posts and sleepers and connected together by joining pieces produced as cold pieces profiled, having a shape allowing their stacking.

Building frames of this type are already known. In these frameworks, the connecting pieces of posts and sleepers are made in the form of bent boxes adapted to receive the ends of the profiles to assemble. Then, the case is reinforced by addition of a reinforcement piece which will be welded to the construction site.

The use of such connecting pieces leads considerable disadvantages. We see in particular that these connecting pieces have a structure relatively complex and that they are heavy and bulky, making transportation difficult and storage, and their assembly requires tools specific. These drawbacks exclude the use of composite posts and sleepers formed for example by assembly of two C profiles arranged back to back. Through therefore, we must be content with simple profiles and to have an acceptable rigidity, the posts at relatively short distances.

In US-A-4342177, a frame of building made from cold C profiles, forming posts and crosspieces, interconnected by connecting pieces and having a shape allowing their stacking. These connecting pieces, produced in the form of cold-formed parts, have two distinct parts, one consisting of reinforcement plate arranged between the base parts of the profiles mounted back to back, the other formed by an angle reinforcement allowing on the one hand the consolidation of the reinforcement plate and secondly the connection and the reinforcement of sleepers and beams.

However, this connecting piece has the disadvantage of not presenting, at its upper part, wing flange capable of being bolted to sleeper wings.

For this reason, the connecting piece in question allows limited reinforcement of sleepers and beams and should therefore be reserved for construction of small buildings.

In addition, this connecting piece has the downside of requiring two separate elements this which multiplies the number of different pieces to be stored and causes an increase in time and labor for fixing to posts and crosspieces.

On the other hand, it has been described in GB-A-1590435, not not a part allowing the junction of a post and a cross member for the realization of a building frame but a beam structure obtained by alignment with interlocking of two cross-section profiles in Z shape with curved edges whose wings have different widths.

The object of the present invention is to provide a building framework which overcomes the disadvantages of the state of the art, which have just been described, that is to say of which the connecting pieces of the beams and sleepers have only one element capable of providing alone sufficient reinforcement for construction of large buildings.

To achieve this goal, the building frame according to the invention is characterized in that the pieces of junction are Z-shaped parts, and in that the posts and ties are each formed by two C profiles mounted back to back and connected by the pieces junction arranged between the base parts of the profiles mounted back to back, the wings of the Z-shaped junction being fixed on the faces outside of the corresponding wings of the C-sections.

According to another advantageous characteristic of the invention, a junction piece of a post formed by two C-profiles mounted back to back and a crosspiece formed by two C profiles mounted back to back, and of which the ends to be joined are arranged in the same plane by being juxtaposed one from the other, is constituted a flat base plate with two outer edges adjacent have an angle corresponding to the angle formed by the ends of the post and the cross join, while the edges adjacent to these edges, advantageously perpendicular to these, are free of edges along the length corresponding to the width of a C-section, and, when assembled, the base plate is engaged between the C-profiles of the end of the post and between the C-profiles of the end of the crosspiece, with the flanges fixed on the outer faces of the wing tips of the two C-profiles located in the same plan, post and crossbar.

According to another advantageous characteristic, the edge of the base plate of the junction piece of a post and a crosspiece, which connects the aforementioned edges with no edges has a ledge oriented in the opposite direction to the edge of the two adjacent edges supra.

Figure 1 shows a framework of a building comprising over its length a number of gantries 1 produced according to the present invention. Each gantry includes two posts 2 formed by the back-to-back mounting of two cold C profiles 3a, 3b shown in more detail in Figure 3 and two sleepers 5 mounted end to end at an angle α and each also formed by two cold sections 3a, 3b in C arranged back to back and connecting pieces 7, 8 and 9 respectively to fix the posts 2 on a foundation structure 10, to connect a post 2 to a cross 5 and to connect the two cross one to the other.

The connecting parts 7 to 9 will be described below. with particular reference to FIGS. 4 to 6.

Post leg junction piece 7 (figure 6) is formed by a cold Z-shaped part comprising a flat part 12 whose two edges opposites are folded back to form Z wings 13 oriented in opposite directions. As we clearly seen in the figures, to fix the end of the post 2 on a plate 14 forming part of the foundation structure 10, we place the connecting piece 7 so that its flat part 12 either located between the bases of the two profiles 3 in C of the post and that the wings 13 of the junction piece are applied against the outer faces of corresponding wings of the two sections 3, the part 7 being welded on the plate 14. The fixing of the C-profiles on the Z-junction piece is made advantageously by bolting the profiles as indicates the assembly holes.

Concernant ces ailes 17 et 18, elles forment un angle β, correspondant à l'angle des extrémités à joindre du poteau 2 et de la traverse 5.Referring to Figure 4, we see a junction piece 8 of a post 2 and a cross member 5 is formed by a flat plate 16 of which two adjacent edges have edges perpendiculars 17, 18 forming profile wings oriented in the same direction. Edges 19, 20 adjacent to wing edges 17 and 18 respectively have a length which corresponds to the width of a C-profile and have no wings. The free ends of these edges are connected by an edge 21 which is provided with a flange 22 extending in the opposite direction to that of wings 17 and 18. Concerning these wings 17 and 18, they form an angle β, corresponding to the angle of the ends to be joined from post 2 and cross member 5.

As clearly shown in Figure 4, the coin junction is placed between the bases of the two profiles 3a, 3b in C of the post 2, on the one hand, and between the bases of the two sections 3a, 3b at C of the crosspiece 5, on the other hand, so that the wings 17 and 18 are supported on the outer surfaces of the wings external sections 3a located in the same plane, of the post and the crosspiece. Since wing 22 of the connecting piece extends in the direction opposite that of the wings 17, 18, it is interposed between the inner wings of others sections 3b of the post and the cross-member. We obtain thus a very rigid assembly of the post profiles and the sleeper. The fixing of the junction piece on the profiles is done by bolting. Figure 4 shows the through holes 28 of the bolts, made in the profiles and the connecting piece.

The part 9 for joining two crosspieces, according to figure 5, is formed by a plate plane 30 of which two adjacent edges are provided with flanges forming wings 31 and 32 and extending perpendicularly from the plane of the plate 30, in the same direction, forming the angle α between them above. Edges 33 and 34 adjacent to the edges 31 and 32, each perpendicular to the edge have a slightly longer length greater than the width of a C profile. These edges are devoid of wings. Their free ends are connected by a straight edge which is provided with a rim 35 which extends perpendicularly from the plane of the plate 30 in the direction opposite to the edges 31 and 32.

To assemble the two crosspieces, the piece of junction is interposed between the two pairs of profiles 3a and 3b with the wings 31 and 32 resting on the outer faces of the profile wings 3a are finding in the same plane while wing 35 extends between the lower wings of the other two sections 3b of the post and the crossbar, located also in the same plane.

The parts shown respectively in Figures 8 and 9 have a right angle shape and are configured to be bolted to the workpiece junction at edge 21 and the junction of edges 17, 18 respectively, on the free face of the part 8. The joining part then also comprises a ledge on its other side. Attachment of parts reinforcement 40, 41 is done by bolting as indicates the holes in the parts of reinforcement and shown in figure 10.

It should be noted that the building frame according to the invention only uses cold sections which are manufactured completely before assembly and galvanized. Thanks to their general Z shape, the pieces junction can be stacked and easily transported to the site. Since the pieces of junction are simple Z-shaped parts, they do not have a low weight, which allows to realize the construction of the framework without specific tools and bulky such as cranes.

Another advantage of the invention lies in the fact that the bases of profiles a and b of posts and sleepers are spaced a distance corresponding to the thickness of the connecting pieces, making it possible to easily mount supports for example for the realization of a showcase, glass entry doors, interior partitions or overhead crane structure. Given the arrangement of these supports between the two profiles of a post or a crosspiece, we obtain always a symmetrical support structure.
