Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Dampferzeuger, insbesondere zur Verwendung in der Küchentechnik, der einen Dampfkessel, einen Brennerschacht zur Zuleitung heißer Abgase von einem Brenner und mindestens einen Wärmetauscherabschnitt mit einem oder mehreren Kanälen zum Durchleiten der Abgase des Brenners und zum Wärmeaustausch mit der in dem Dampfkessel enthaltenen Flüssigkeit aufweist, wobei der oder die Kanäle des Wärmetauscherabschnitts einerseits mit einem Abzug und andererseits über einen Verbindungsabschnitt mit dem Brennerschacht verbunden und so angeordnet sind, daß die Strömungsrichtung der von dem Brenner zu dem Abzug strömenden Gase in dem oder den Kanälen verschieden von der Strömungsrichtung in den Brennerschacht ist. Der erfindungsgemäße Dampferzeuger ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Verbindungsabschnitt einen Durchlaß aufweist, der durch eine Öffnung in einer Wand des Brennerschachts und einen Einsatz gebildet wird, wobei die Öffnung den Brennerschacht mit einem oder mehreren Kanälen des Wärmetauscherabschnitts verbindet und teilweise durch den Einsatz verschlossen ist.
