Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the range of the inlet (4) for the rods a device for linear measurement (9) for determining the length of the reinforcing rods is provided in such a way that the device for linear measurement (9) supplies a machine control with the information about the length.
  4. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a conveying means (8) is provided which positions the reinforcing rod (12) in the machine according to a cross coordinate preset by the control.
  5. Machine according to claim 4, characterised in that as conveying means (8) a continuously circulating conveying belt is provided, and the reinforcing rod (12) lies on the conveying belt (8), the conveying belt (8) having means for preventing the reinforcing rod (12) from sliding on the belt.
  6. Machine according to claim 4, characterised in that as conveying means (8) a sledge is provided which can shift longitudinally, and which has a coupling element for connecting with the reinforcing rod (12).
  7. Machine according to one of the claims 4 to 6, characterised by a device for advance measurement (9) on the conveying means (8) which transfers the measured cross advance path to the machine control.
  8. Machine according to one of the preceding claims 4 to 7, characterised by an ejector (18) which is designed in such a way that the reinforcing rod (12) is conveyed, after its cross positioning, by the conveying means (8) to a rod centering device (20) of the automatic fastening machine (2).
  9. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the automatic fastening machine (2) fastens the reinforcing rod (12) to the basic belt (12) after the reinforcing rod (12) is centered relatively to the basic belt.
  10. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that as automatic fastening machine (2) an electrode welding device (23, 24) is provided, one electrode (24) being arranged below the basic belt (14) and the other electrode (23) being arranged above the basic belt (14) and the reinforcing rod (12) put on the basic belt (14).
  11. Machine according to claim 8 or 10, characterised in that the rod centering device (20), respectively the electrode (23), pushes the reinforcing rod (12) against the basic belt (14).
  12. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the machine two conveying means (8) essentially parallel to each other are arranged.
  13. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the machine (1) has a measurement device for the thickness of the reinforcing rod, and that it is designed in such a way that it transfers the thickness of the reinforcing rod to the machine control.
  14. Machine according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the machine (1) has a control, which is in particular monitored by computer or microprocessor, and which itself or in connection with another control or computer monitors the production process of the welded wire meshes, the control reading in the production data of the welded wire mesh from a data carrier, data exchanger or the like, and, by means of these data, carries out one or more of the following operations:
    a) Selection of the reinforcing rod out of the supply magazine
    b) Adjustment of the measured rod length to the set length of the production data
    c) Adjustment of the determined rod diameter to the set diameter of the production data
    d) Interruption of the machining and/or conveying out of the rod in the case that the adjustment of b) and/or c) is not in the tolerance range.
    e) Data transfer with aggregates which are either preceding or downstream.
  15. Machine according to claim 4 or one of the claims depending on claim 4, characterised in that the following reinforcing rod is positioned on the conveying means (8), while the automatic fastening machine (2) fastens the preceding reinforcing rod to the basic belt (14).
