Apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that a stationary monitoring unit (32) assigned to the folding turret (10) has a plurality of contact elements or contact lugs (29,30,31) which follow one after the other in the circumferential direction and, on account of their relative positioning and dimensions in the axis-parallel direction, cover every possible incorrect position of the push rod (12), the contact lugs (29,30,31) preferably having an increasing width in the direction of rotation of the folding turret.
  8. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that provided on the monitored, moveable element, in particular on the push rod (12), is a transversely projecting actuating element, in particular a nose (33), which, in the event of incorrect positioning of the push rod (12), actuates at least one contact lug (29,30,31) as a result of rotary movement of the folding turret (10).
  9. Apparatus according to Claim 8 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the actuating protrusion, in particular the nose (33), is provided on a crosspiece (21), arranged at the end of the push rod (12), such that, in the event of incorrect positioning of the push rod (12), the nose (33) projects into the region of at least one contact lug (29,30,31).
  10. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the moveable element, in particular the push rod (12), is connected to a push-rod drive via a coupling which can be released if overloaded.
  11. Apparatus according to Claim 10 or one of the further claims, characterized in that the push rod (12) can be moved by a sideways-directed contact roller (15) which passes into a stationary control groove (16) such that, as a result of rotation of the folding turret (10), axial movements back and forth can be transmitted to the push rod (12), the contact roller (15) being connected releasably to the push rod (12), preferably such that the contact roller (15) is provided on a carriage (18) which, for its part, is connected to the push rod (12) via a coupling which can be released if overloaded.
  12. Apparatus according to Claim 10 or 11 and one of the further claims, characterized in that the contact roller (15) or the carriage (18) is connected, via permanent magnets (23,24), to the push rod (12), preferably to the crosspiece (21) arranged at the end of the push rod (12), such that, in the event of overloading, the carriage (18), which can be moved freely on the push rod (12), can be released from the crosspiece (21).
