Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fabric intended to be used as a multilayer mattress mounted in a protective garment and the protective garment thus equipped. Such clothes are known. Some are of the type intended to delay the penetration of the tool by giving the user sufficient time to react and move said tool away from the body.
- Patent FR 78 07431 describes a garment incorporating a significant number of layers of tissue. This garment is heavy, which is unimportant since it is intended to be used as a tracksuit by motorcyclists.
- Patent CA 1 015 504 describes pants provided a protective mattress specially designed for chainsaw chains that alternate layers of fabric thick folded over, two layers doubled with nylon with, interposed, a layer of smooth fabric. This mattress is necessarily thick enough that, according to what patent, the agglomeration of torn wires blocks the chain.
- a garment of this type is also heavy and poorly convenient to wear. One can question its effectiveness.
- the protective mattress includes up to seven layers of fabric, silk or nylon plus two layers of wrap, which makes it particularly awkward.
- Swedish patent 8303282 also describes such a garment whose mattress has an undetermined number of layers of fabrics in an indefinite quantity.
- the fabric according the invention makes it possible to produce multilayer mattresses of protection which not only are in compliance with the standards but which also require fewer layers of fabrics, which allows the inventor to obtain a lighter and therefore more pleasant.
- the fabric according to the invention intended for be used as a multi-layer mattress superimposed, said mattress being mounted in a garment of safety or any other type of safety accessory for stop the penetration of sharp tools, especially gouge chain type, through the garment to the user is essentially characterized in that he is made by warp weaving and weft of fiber yarn synthetic material and that a number among the threads of chain are threads made of fibers having a coefficient of tensile strength greater than said fiber coefficient of other warp and / or weft yarns so that they help promote the tearing retarded threads of successive layers which provide a good tensile and tear resistance gouge chain.
- the chain wires with a coefficient of increased resistance to traction are arranged at regular intervals to the wires of chain.
- the weft and warp threads are polyester and some threads are made of aramid.
- the weft and warp threads are in polyester and some of the warp and weft threads are in aramid.
- the assembly of the layers of fabrics and / or the mattress on the garment is made so that the threads to increased tensile strength be engaged by the gouge chain.
- the fabric according to the invention ( Figure 1) is formed by weaving following a web weave of warp 1 and weft 2 threads.
- the warp 1 and weft 2 threads are threads made from synthetic fibers such as for example polyester or any other high quality synthetic material equivalent.
- a number among the wires are 3 yarns made from fibers having a coefficient of tensile strength greater than the coefficient of tensile strength of other sons of chain.
- the wires 3, the coefficient of tensile strength is greater than same coefficient of the other warp threads are arranged at regular interval.
- a wire 3 or group of several son 3 is arranged every X chain son 1 for example all six warp threads 1.
- the fabric according to the invention is therefore composed of strips of warp 1 separated by chain son 3 of higher tensile strength.
- the chain son 3 form a narrower band.
- the wires 3 are aramid wires commercially known under the trade name "KEVLAR".
- all six chain son are arranged three aramid chain son.
- the six warp threads are HT polyester threads in 1100 decitex / 210 strands / 60 turns.
- the three aramid 129 chain wires are 1100 decitex / 666 strand wires, 'zero turns.
- the weft threads are polyester threads in 1100 decitex / 210 strands / 60 turns.
- some weft threads arranged in a regular spacing can be aramid yarn.
- the texture of the fabric must be in fact sufficiently loose to take the gouge of the chain and sufficiently tight to avoid deformation.
- a good texture can be 6.5 cm in the weft and 7.5 son in the warp per cm2. Such a structure is unbalanced.
- the fabric according to the invention is used for make a protective mattress internal to a garment job.
- workwear concerns any type of clothing item or clothing accessory used for security purposes such as gaiters or gloves or the like.
- the protective mattress is prepared by placing layers of fabric between two layers of wrap fabric and assembly by widely spaced zig zag 4 stitching.
- the number of layers of fabric of five or six are arranged with the chain wires in aramid coming to the cutting of the mattresses so that they are in the direction of the length of the mattress.
- the said aramid yarns will therefore be lengthwise.
- the mattress is cut into a single mattress by patterning according to areas proportional to the size of the garment.
- the unitary mattress 5 is bordered at the contour by a bias 6 at four points per centimeter and overlock which allows the maintenance of the layers of protection on their edge.
- the protective fabric layers according to the invention are assembled according to a system of floating layers. Therefore, the layers are independent of each other to allow the best possible stretching of the wire.
- the planking through 6 also contributes. This optimized stretching of the wire allows an increased action on the chain since it takes place with a delay effect and it contributes to the blocking of the chain saw by blocking the drive sprocket.
- the pants are attached to the mattress by at least one reinforced stitching 7 at the top and bottom of the mattress, for example a double stitching. Laterally, the mattress is fixed by a single or double stitching 8.
- the 7/8 stitches are made about one centimeter from the edge.
- the 7/8 stitches completely pass through the protective layers and the fabric of the pants. These reinforced bites help to hold the warp threads up to their fabric tearing limit, which is important since the tensile strength of the fabric is increased by the aramid threads 3 arranged over its entire length.
- the mattress is fixed by regularly spaced points around the perimeter.
- the garment thus produced is particularly light.
