Claims (7)

  1. Device for spreading and squeezing tubular knitted goods, consisting of:
    a) a frame (5, 5a, 5b) with several rotary-driven roller races (28, 29) disposed in a horizontal plane,
    b) a rotatable spreading device (8) consisting of a central support (19), which consists of an outer tube (19a) and an inner tube (19b) telescopically slidable in the outer tube, radially extendable struts (20, 21) being articulatedly mounted on the support (19), the free ends of which are joined to a stretcher roller (12),
    c) a rotary bearing joined to a bottom spreader head (11) to support the inner tube (19b) of the support and a lifting mechanism (17) connected to the spreader head (11) for adjusting the vertical position of the spreading device (8),
    d) several squeezing units (13) disposed about the support (19), consisting respectively of at least two inner squeezer rollers (26) mounted in roll mountings (24, 25) fixed to the support (19), and respectively at least one outer squeezer roller (23) co-operating with the inner squeezer rollers (26) and linked to the roller races (28) by means of piston-cylinder units (27),
    characterised in that
    e) no top spreader head is provided and the spreading device (8) is fixed in its horizontal position by the squeezer units (13) alone.
  2. Device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that an additional roll head (31) is provided between the rotary bearing (22) with the support rollers (9), which is mounted in fixing rollers (32) joined to the support rollers.
  3. Device for spreading and squeezing tubular knitted goods, consisting of:
    a) a frame (5, 5a, 5b) with several rotary-driven roller races (28, 29) disposed in a horizontal plane,

    characterised in that
    d) no top spreader head is provided and the spreading device (8) is fixed in its horizontal position by the squeezer units (13) alone,
    e) a piston-cylinder unit is provided in the upper region of the outer tube (19a) of the support (19), disposed coaxially with the outer tube (19a) of the support (19), the piston rod (33) of which is displaceable in the direction of the axis of the outer tube (19a) of the support (19) and articulatedly connected to the top struts (20a) of the spreading device (8), thereby enabling the spreading device to be adjusted.
