Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Flachantennen für terrestrisch abgestrahlte Signale und für Funkverbindungen mit Frequenzen im GHz-Bereich, insbesondere für den Mobilfunk im 900-MHz- und im 1,8-GHz-Band. Sie geht von einem Wirkprinzip aus, bei dem zwei zueinander planparallele Flächenelemente aus elektrisch leitendem Material durch einen seitlichen Kurzschluß verbunden sind. Gleichzeitig ist eines der Flächenelemente, die Massebezugsfläche (3,7), an den Außenleiter und das andere, das Flächensegment (1,11), an den Innenleiter eines speisenden Koaxialkabels (4) angeschlossen. Die Verbesserung der Strahlungscharakteristik wird durch die Zweiteilung des Flächensegments in Verbindung mit je einer zugeordneten Kurzschlußverbindung (12,13) ermöglicht. Die Teilflächen (10,11) sind voneinander durch einen Spalt (14) getrennt oder überlappend, unter Zwischenfügung eines Dielektrikums, angeordnet. Der Teilfläche (11) ist ein Speiseanschluß (6) zugeordnet. Sie ist außerdem mit als offene Leitungsstücke wirkenden Flächenabschnitten (15) zur Beeinflussung der Impedanz im Speisepunkt (6) versehen.

The invention relates to flat antennas for terrestrially radiated signals and for radio connections with frequencies in the GHz range, in particular for mobile radio in the 900 MHz and 1.8 GHz bands. It is based on an active principle in which two plane elements of electrically conductive material that are plane-parallel to one another are connected by a lateral short circuit. At the same time, one of the surface elements, the ground reference surface (3.7), is connected to the outer conductor and the other, the surface segment (1.11), to the inner conductor of a feeding coaxial cable (4). The improvement in the radiation characteristic is made possible by the division of the area segment into two, each with an associated short-circuit connection (12, 13). The partial areas (10, 11) are separated from one another by a gap (14) or are overlapping, with a dielectric interposed. A feed connection (6) is assigned to the partial surface (11). It is also provided with surface sections (15) which act as open line sections to influence the impedance in the feed point (6).
