Abstract

Beschrieben ist eine Anlage (10) zum Kühlhalten von Lebensmitteln. Eine Wanne (14) nimmt Crusheis auf, in welches kühlzuhaltende Lebensmittel so eingebettet werden, daß sie an der Oberfläche freiliegen. Der Wanne (14) ist ein Luftstromsystem (16) zugeordnet, mittels welchem ein Kühlluftstrom im Kreislauf wenigstens unter der Wanne (14) hindurch- und über die Wanne hinwegleitbar ist. Das Luftstromsystem (16) weist einen Luftkanal (22) auf, der die Wanne unten und an den Seiten umschließt. Einlaßseitig ist der Luftkanal mit einer Luftansaughaube (18) versehen, auslaßseitig mit einer Luftumlenkhaube. Mittels eines Lufteinlasses (24) und eines Luftauslasses (26) wird die um die Wanne (14) strömende Luft an der Oberseite der Wanne so geführt, daß der Wanneninhalt gut gekühlt gehalten wird. Die Anlage eignet sich, um Warmhaltetheken zu Kühlhaltetheken umzurüsten oder um Kühlhaltetheken, die bislang lediglich mit Crusheis betrieben werden, zusätzlich mit einem Kühlluftstromsystem zu versehen, das einen Luftschleier über die Oberseite des Wanneninhalts hinwegleitet.
