Claims (6)

  1. Paper shredder or similar apparatus, with a subframe consisting of two side parts (1 and 2), which extend parallel to one another and are rigid in shape, together with base (3) and back wall (4) connecting these as well as a cutting mechanism housing (5) detachably placed on the latter (4) and the side parts (1 and 2), characterised in that back wall (4) and base surface (3) consist of a plate (PL) which, in its initial form (Fig. 2) is of integral construction and planar and has a transversely extending bending groove (BN) between base (3) and back wall region (4), that this plate (PL) on assembly of the subframe (Fig. 1) is held in a position bent over through 90° (Fig. 3) by way of the pluggable (arrows P1 and P2), correspondingly profiled side parts (1 and 2) and that the side parts (1 and 2) form together with the cutting mechanism housing (5) a rigid, box-shaped component by way of similarly pluggable connecting positions (6 and 7), which are arranged in at least two planes (E1 and E2) disposed at a mutual vertical spacing (VA), for the cutting mechanism housing (5).
