Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould for producing strips suitable for the rolling of elongate products, especially wire, steel profiles, steel rod, rails or the like, wherein the chill mould (1) is provided with a round chill mould formal or even oval chill mould format (6) at the upper chill mould inlet, characterised in that the shaping region of the chill mould (6) begins approximately in the middle of the chill mould (5.2) and has over the lower chill mould half (7) to at the latest the chill mould outlet (7.1) a polygonal format (8) or profiled format (8.1) of approximately the same circumference as the outlet round chill mould format or oval chill mould format (6) and that the chill mould (1) in the region of the second chill mould half (7) consists of mutually independent segments (7.2) for the purpose of shaping the strip, wherein the segments (7.2) of the casting chill mould (1) are regulated with respect to position and force.
  2. Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould according to claim 1, characterised in that the casting chill mould (1) has the round cross-section or oval cross-section at most up to the middle of the chill mould.
  3. Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould according to claim 1, characterised in that the casting chill mould (1) has at its outlet (7.1) a square billet format (9), a convex square billet format (9.1), an octahedron format (10), a bloom format (14) or also a profiled strip format (8.1).
  4. Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould according to at least one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a device for forming a gas film is provided between the segments (7.2) of the casting chill mould (1) and the strip.
  5. Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould according to at least one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the segments (7.2) consist of copper, a copper alloy or even cast steel.
  6. Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the chill mould (1) is arranged to be vertical and oscillating and represents the head of a vertical, vertical-bent or curved continuous casting plant (11) for the casting of billets or blooms.
  7. Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the chill mould (1) is arranged to be horizontal and is fixedly connected with the spreader (17) and an oscillating device is associated with the strip (15) for the purpose of conveying out.
  8. Continuous casting plant with a casting chill mould according to at least one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the chill mould (1) is arranged to be horizontal and is fixedly connected with the spreader (19) and chill mould and spreader are associated with an oscillating device.
