Description
Oberbegriffen der Ansprüche 12, 24 und 25.The invention relates to a method for dewatering a fiber suspension according to
the preamble of claim 1 and drainage devices according to the
Preambles of
Die Suspension wird zwischen diese beiden Flächen eingegeben und entwässert.WO 96/08660 describes a device with which a method of this type is feasible. This device contains a drivable suction roll permeable surface, which consists of an impermeable plastic tape on a Part of its circumference is surrounded. The suspension is between these two surfaces entered and drained.
In processes of this type, the aim is usually to use the best possible To achieve drainage with the highest possible throughput. This is the goal of mentioned prior art the fact that the impermeable tape in important first part of the drainage zone is just the drainage after a Side allowed, although here still due to the centrifugal forces considerable vacuum on the suction roll is required.
Another disadvantage of this device is that it is at a standstill and impermeable sieve surface can accumulate solids during operation, which are very quickly lead to clumps and the operation of the whole device sensitive to disturb. Cleaning is not possible during operation.
The invention has for its object to a method and drainage devices of the type mentioned create and design such that good drainage performance at high Operational safety is achieved.
This object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
With the help of these measures can already in the initial drainage section, ie where the suspension is introduced between the converging surfaces, one very effective drainage can be achieved. This is further supported by that - as is known per se - the two converging surfaces relative to each other are moved, whereby a shear field is formed in the suspension layer. In addition is by choosing the speeds of both the surfaces mentioned and the incoming suspension the control of the drainage effect in the desired Way possible.
The more or less dry substance obtained from the fiber suspension lies in Web form before, possibly also in the form of fiber rolls, the axis of which at Arise transverse to the direction of movement of the surfaces and the one diameter can have between less than one millimeter and several millimeters.
A further advantage is achieved with the invention, namely that there is practically none Cleaning problems arise in the area of the converging surfaces. These are essentially designed to be permeable and can be continuously flushed during operation become. One of these surfaces can stand still, i.e. None at all Perform translatory movement, but it can also be done with a variable Speed, e.g. Creep speed can be moved e.g. the wear too to be able to carry out cleaning in a similar manner or in extreme cases.
The actual execution of the method results in a plurality of Variations. The following explains how the Relative speed between the two converging surfaces are generated can and what effects are associated with it. As is known, the suspension is included a flow rate introduced into such a dewatering device, where the flow velocity i.a. determines the amount of suspension on the Machine can be drained in a certain time. In practice you give for at least one of the surfaces touching this suspension has a velocity in Current direction (downstream), which with a certain deviation of the Flow rate of the suspension at the inlet corresponds. When choosing this Differential speed there are already possibilities to influence the Drainage effect of the machine. The two converging surfaces are said to be move past each other at relative speed. A simple realization is the one to keep an area still. But there may be advantages, even if the second Area absolutely seen at a low speed (creep speed) is moved, which is less expensive and also the possibility offers to clean both surfaces during operation. At high Machine speed, the second surface moves even faster, depending on how it requires the desired relative speed.
The surface with which the suspension comes into contact also has an influence on the effect of the procedure. As a result of the relative movement of the two contact surfaces the suspension in between tends to form rolls, which in many Cases is also desired. By selecting these surfaces, the Roll formation can also be easily controlled so that they e.g. is strong enough to favor the drainage, but not so strongly, e.g. to undesirable To produce clumps or wear.
The independent claims 12, 24 and 25 relate to drainage devices for carrying out the method according to the invention.

Fig. 1 shows the using a schematically illustrated drainage device

The main difference of the device in Fig. 2 and in Fig. 1 is that the
Bezüglich der Relativbewegung gilt das zu Fig. 2 bereits Gesagte.FIG. 3 represents a variant of the device shown in
Fig. 4 explains a variant of the method based on another
Drainage device in which both converging surfaces are curved
are, but the inner
In diesem Falle
Even when using a cylinder, it can be advantageous to have a negative pressure
to be used in the drainage zone, as shown in FIG. 5. In this case
are within the
It may well be advantageous to divide the drainage zone into at least two sections
to subdivide in which one of the curved surfaces has different curvatures
and / or angle. Such a measure is indicated in FIG. 6 using the example
a rigid screen forming the outer curved surface, which consists of two
Fig. 7 shows the part of a sieve that is used in carrying out the method can find on a surface that is not moved in space. In such a case Zones with different mesh sizes can be provided, as a rule the mesh size or weave, seen in the flow direction of the suspension, is coarser becomes. The structure of the screens is exaggerated to make them clear.
In besonderen Fällen
verbessern. The drainage effect can be further increased if a special
In principle, the method can be carried out if at least one of the converging surfaces is domed. As shown in Fig. 9, a curved surface that then the moving surface is usually, interact with a flat surface. Also double-sided drainage is possible.
Similar to FIG. 8, in FIG. 10 there is another one provided with pressure strips 24

Fig. 11 shows a device similar to Fig. 2, but essentially by 90 ° rotated so that the drainage area is substantially below the cylinder lies.
In many cases it can be advantageous if the converging on both sides Areas are formed by flexible sieves. That is in itself with twin wire formers in known to the paper machine, but these are not worth mentioning to one another Have relative speed. This additional effort means e.g. the Removal of the thickened suspension is considerably easier.
