Abstract

PCT No. PCT/EP96/02362 Sec. 371 Date Nov. 21, 1997 Sec. 102(e) Date Nov. 21, 1997 PCT Filed May 31, 1996 PCT Pub. No. WO96/41549 PCT Pub. Date Dec. 27, 1996A shoe structure includes an upper, including at least an outer layer and a lining, an insole, and a sole. The lining lines the inside of the outer layer and includes a waterproof and water-vapor permeable functional layer. The insole is connected to a lower end area of the outer layer. The lower end area of the lining is turned back to the inside in the sole area at least approximately parallel to the direction in which the sole extends, whereby the turned back area of the lining is shortened to a width of between 0.5 and 3 cm. Cut-outs are made in the insole, at least in the area in which the turned back lower end area of the lining ends. The lower end area of the lining is embedded in a synthetic material which fills the cut-outs in the insole in such a manner that at least the surface of the end area of the lining facing the inner area of the shoe structure forms a continuous surface with the surface of the synthetic material facing the inner area of the shoe structure. The functional layer is bonded with the synthetic material in a waterproof manner in the lower end area of the lining and at the extreme edge area of the lining.

Description

The invention relates to footwear, which at least one Is part of a shoe, consisting of a shaft that at least an outer layer and the outer layer from the inside lining, a waterproof and water vapor permeable Has layer containing lining, one with the insole connected to the lower end region of the outer layer and a sole.

Shoes whose footwear with one, a waterproof and lining containing water vapor permeable functional layer included, are widely known for their comfort. However, water resistance is always a problem to ensure such shoes because, for example, each Seam that is attached to the lining layer as a result of Capillary forces can transport water inwards. To that extent it becomes the waterproof, water vapor permeable Feed containing functional layer often in the form of a Socks (known under the name Booty) formed, which is only at the upper opening of the Shoe is connected to the outer layer. The one for education necessary seams or other types of connection of the sock can easily be done with a waterproof tape be sealed so that the sock version of the Guaranteed water resistance. In the sock version However, lining must also be available in the area of the sole be hermetically waterproof to the interior to train, but often in the sole area the water vapor permeability the feed is of no importance, because the sole material does not allow water vapor to pass through. In this respect, the formation of the lining layer as socks (Booty) too complex for many applications.

Therefore, for example, according to DE-A-38 21 602 for shoes with molded sole for connection between the outer layer and lining a porous strip inserted through which when the sole material is injected through it porous strip penetrates down to the lining, so that the the seam connecting the porous strip with the lining Sole material is included. This embodiment can be do not apply to shoes with a flex design, for example. In the case of flexible construction shoes, the lower area is the outer layer turned outwards so that this lower one End region of the outer layer at least approximately parallel is arranged to the outsole, and with the insole sewn, with the end edge of the folded end region the outer layer and the end edge of the insole the same Have a contour. To ensure water resistance, these types of shoes are still elaborate Construction with socks.

The object of the present invention is a footwear of the type mentioned in such a way that their manufacture is less expensive, at least in the Areas where water vapor permeability is not What is required is as little of the elaborate one as possible waterproof and water vapor permeable layer containing Use food. In particular, the footwear should Production of shoes in flexible construction may be suitable.

This task is done with footwear according to the generic term of claim 1 solved in that the lower end region of the lining inside and at least in turned about parallel to the direction of extension of the sole is where the turned over area of the feed is shortened to a width of 0.5 to 3 cm that the Insole at least in the area where the lower, folded end of the lining ends, at least one Cutout shows that the lower end of the lining in one, the at least a section of the insole filling plastic material is embedded such that at least the one facing the inside of the footwear Surface of the end area of the lining with the for Shoe interior of the plastic material directed Forms a constant surface and the Functional layer in the lower end of the lining and on the end edge of the lining with the plastic material is connected watertight.

The width of the folded area of the Feed between 1.5 and 2.5 cm, with 1.5 to 2.0 cm each have proven their worth.

Such footwear can be easily done ensure that the lining is wrapped around the last and then the insole with the lining, for example by gluing. In the simplest case and in In the case of molded soles, the insole with the Outer layer only connected via the sole material.

The insole can also be used with the lower part of the outer layer to be sewn.

In a preferred embodiment, the one turned over Area of the lining glued to the insole. The width the area of the feed that has been turned depends on that a sufficiently firm for use and watertight connection between lining and insole achieved becomes. A width of 1 is usually sufficient for this up to 2 cm.

Particularly favorable results are obtained with the invention Footwear scored when the sole attached to the plastic material and molded or glued to the insole is. Here is the versatility of the invention Footwear clearly.

It has proven particularly useful when the sole is molded on and also the plastic material for embedding the lower one End area of the feed is.

Through the cutouts in the insole, the plastic material can or the sole material via injection to penetrate to the lining and with it a waterproof Establish connection. It is not like in DE-A-38 21 602 described, required a porous To provide connecting material, which is the manufacture of the Would only make shoes unnecessarily expensive. For spraying needs only the lower area of the lining above the lasts be hit, the insole with the cutouts be glued on, the insole with the folded over Part of the outer layer are sewn and then the plastic material, which is also conveniently the sole material is to be injected. The plastic material then penetrates through the cutouts to the lining, can but only penetrate to the last, whereby the last advantageously provided with a non-stick coating is. The feed is preferably constructed such that the waterproof water vapor permeable layer on the inside of the shoe coated with a common lining is while the waterproof water vapor permeable layer to the outside a textile fabric is reinforced, which on the one hand gives the feed the necessary strength and on the other hand, is easily penetrable by the plastic material, so that a good waterproof connection to the waterproof layer permeable to water vapor becomes. Here, the textile fabric, which is a Fabric, knitted fabric, knitted fabric or fleece can be made of plastic material pervaded and enveloped by what straight that gives the feed the necessary strength Sufficiently over the plastic material with the Insole and / or the sole material is connected. This Connection is found to be sufficiently strong for use of the shoes. Water can pass through this connection no longer penetrate the inside of the shoe. For better Producibility, the shortened feed can free space created by a porous material, for example a mesh or textile grid or even through a Feed sole can be bridged, which with the feed, for example can be connected by sewing.

The footwear according to the invention is particularly distinguished characterized in that the insole has a single cutout has, the cutting edge at least approximately parallel to the end edge of the folded end area of the feed runs. In the manufacture of footwear, the Plastic injection compound particularly easy to feed penetrate a waterproof connection. Here penetrates when spraying the sole material outside up to Insole, in the cutout area of the insole up to Lining and in the area where neither insole nor Feed is available until coated with a non-stick agent Last. In this respect, the invention has Proven footwear especially when the plastic material with the exposed parts of the handled Area, especially the end edge of the folded area of the lining is connected watertight. To this The edge with the plastic material is also wise connected waterproof so that another security against penetrating water is created.

It is advantageous here if the injection molding process takes place in this way is carried out that the one facing the inside of the shoe Surface of the sole material with the inside of the shoe pointing turned over area of the feed a constant Surface forms. This can be done by training the Lastly be guaranteed. With such a shoe can you can even do without an insole. Nevertheless, the The user of the shoe has the comfort he demands because the inner sole side forms a constant surface and thus has no annoying folds and / or gradations. It can also be advantageous here if the transshipped Part of the lining in the area of the heel and / or in the area incised the tip and after turning it over is watertight connected to even in these critical Zones to avoid wrinkling.

The footwear according to the invention is particularly notable characterized in that the lower end of the lining with a Lining sole is connected, the end edge of the lower transhipped area of the feed and the The outer edge of the lining sole is at a distance from one another, which is filled in by the plastic material is that the one facing the inside of the footwear Surfaces of the lower folded end of the Lining, the plastic material and the lining sole forms a constant surface. This will make a bracket for the Lining created over the lining sole, so that in particular favorable way when molding the plastic material folded end of the lining is kept smooth and effectively prevents wrinkling. It has proven particularly useful here if the lower one End area of the lining is sewn to the lining sole, and the sewing threads connecting the lining and the lining sole at least partially embedded in the plastic material are. It is particularly advantageous if these sewing threads Monofilaments are because there are no capillary forces in the Sewing thread can arise. If multifilament yarns are used, it is recommended to impregnate them in order to cavities formed in the sewing thread between the filaments fill in the impregnating agent.

The footwear according to the invention can be advantageous Use footwear with the lower end of the outer layer essentially perpendicular to the bottom of the Outsole is aligned. In the simplest case, that's enough Plastic material, especially if the plastic material the sole material is also molded and the outsole is going to make a good connection between the bottom To reach the area of the outer layer with the insole, because when molding soles, the plastic material of the Sole encompasses the insole and the outer layer from the outside and glued to the insole and the outer layer. Here, the footwear according to the invention has in particular with so-called strobed footwear (with a Strobel sewing machine sewn), in which the lower end of the outer layer with the insole is sewn.

To ensure the shape of the shoe, it can also be an advantage if the insole at least in the Joint area a porous, from the plastic material penetrable holding structure connected to the insole having. Especially in the event that the insole has a single section through the Bridging the cutout with the help of the holding structure the insole keeps the shape through this holding structure the insole and thus the shape of the with Insole connected outer layer ensures. Also here it is advantageous if the holding structure is a network which is preferably made from monofilaments.

Particular advantages of the footwear according to the invention result if this is carried out in flex design, the The outer layer in the area of the sole turned over in this way is that the folded part of the outer layer at least approximately parallel to the direction of extension of the Sole is arranged and sewn to the insole. Here can now ensure good water resistance become. In one case a plastic material is used dense embedding of the lining in the lower folded End area reached, with such an amount of plastic is arranged that the outsole side of the Insole formed cutout is filled. In this embodiment can now either be glued to a sole or generated by injection. But it can also embedding directly with the injection of the sole material the lower end of the feed.

In Figure 1 is a partial section of an inventive Schuhs, as for example in Figure 3 with section BB is shown. The shaft consists of a Outer layer 1, which for example made of leather or can consist of a textile material. Inside the outer layer a lining 2 is arranged, which in not shown a waterproof, water vapor permeable Functional layer contains and usually to the inside towards a textile fabric such as a knitted fabric, knitted fabric, woven or a fleece. In generally has the side of the Lining up another textile fabric, which serves as a reinforcement for the functional layer. On laminate composed of such three layers (the three Layers are interconnected) is under the trademark SYMPATEX became known.

The outer layer in the sole area is like this on the outside turned over that the turned over part 1 'of the outer layer 1 at least approximately parallel to the direction of extension the sole 5 is arranged. Between sole 5 and folded over Part 1 'of the outer layer is an insole 3 arranged with the folded part 1 'of the insole 3 is sewn over the seam 4. In the sense of the present This footwear is invented as footwear in Designated flex construction. The insole 3 is shown in FIG. 1 cut out towards the middle and has an edge 3 ', which of the turned over part 2 'of the lining 2 around the area 2 '' is towered over. In the area where Insole 3 and the folded part of the lining itself overlap, insole and lining are glued together. The use of a is recommended for bonding waterproof glue. A lining sole 6 is turned over End area 2 '' of the lining 2 connected.

In the embodiment shown, the sole 5 also forms the turned over part 2 'of the lining 2 and the lining sole 6 a constant surface, as in an enlargement in Figure 2 is shown. The connection of feed with the The lining sole is made by a seam 7, which is partially is embedded in the sole material. Constant area in the sense of the present invention means that the sole material on the inside of the shoe with the folded over Part 2 '' of the lining 2 forms a surface and on the transition point 2 '' 'between the lining and the sole material there is no palpable uplift or deepening. The sole is shown broken off towards the middle (5 ').

In Figure 3, the shoe shown in Figure 1 is in the Shown from below, with the sole material omitted and with 8 the contour was drawn in the outer layer 1 to the outside and the lining 2 to the inside has turned. The turned over part of the forage 2 was in the toe area 10 as well as in the heel area 9 incised, shortened, sewn and with an adhesive tape glued waterproof, effectively avoiding annoying wrinkles can be. The toe and heel are shortened usually such that a triangular in this area Area is cut out and then the Cut edges of the lining are folded and sewn together (Darts). In this way, the folded can be folded Area of the feed 2 can be avoided.

FIG. 4 shows a further embodiment according to the invention, in which the insole 3 has several cutouts 3 '' has, the cutouts 3 '' are arranged so that in the area of which the inner edge 2 '' 'of the end area 2' ' of the feed 2 is visible. In this way, the sole material when spraying through the cutouts of the Insole flow through and the underside with the lining and connect on the edge side.

It goes without saying that before the injection of the A sole is inserted into the shoe, which with a release agent is coated, which release agent Avoids sticking the sole material to the last effectively.

In Figure 5, the section shown in Figure 1 is still once listed, now sole material 5 only extends to the insole 3 and the inside area of the shoe between insole 3 and Lining 2 is filled with a plastic material 12. This plastic material can be an adhesive or other be curable plastic, which at least in should have about the flexibility of the sole material but can also be more flexible. This plastic material can be formed in the insole and the lining Cavity is sprayed on using a last, which also makes it possible to use a glued-on sole without the sole and interior of the shoe an undesirable cavity is created.

According to Figure 6 is a bottom view of another one Footwear according to the invention shown existing shoe. Here, the insole 3 provided with a cutout sewn to the lower edge of the outer layer with the seam 13 (stroked on). For better shape maintenance of the outer layer is a grid 14 of monofilaments on the insole 3 sewn on (seam not shown), the grid 14 den Cutout of the insole 3 bridges. Figure 7 shows the Embodiment according to Figure 6 in partial section. Here too the lining was first embedded using a plastic 12, before the sole 5 was sprayed on. Like this one The second section is clearly visible 2 '' of the lower folded end of the Lining 2 and the end edge 2 '' 'of the lining from the plastic includes, so that the ingress of moisture from outside between the sole material and the insole on the one hand and between the bottom of the lining and the insole (water that has penetrated through the outer layer) is practically excluded.
