Claims (10)
- A fire-fighting method using a fire-extinguishing agent ejector, in particular a fire-extinguishing nozzle of a hand-held extinguishing device, a jet of extinguishing agent being released upon actuation of an actuating element,
characterised in that
the extinguishing agent is ejected via a nozzle head (5) in at least two qualitatively and/or quantitatively different extinguishing agent streams (10-13) in asymmetrical distribution conformed to the fire configuration and deviating from rotationally symmetrical distribution. - A method according to claim 1,
characterised in that
the extinguishing agent is ejected at least with one concentrated penetrating jet and one fan jet. - A method according to one of the preceding claims,
characterised in that,
in addition to a penetrating jet, an oscillating point jet and/or additionally an extinguishing agent mist jet is ejected via the nozzle head. - A method according to one of the preceding claims,
characterised in that
inert gases, an extinguishing fluid, such as water, foam or extinguishing powder, are used as extinguishing agent in particular to produce an extinguishing agent penetration zone, a cooling zone and a separation zone at the seat of the fire. - A device, in particular for implementing the method according to one of the preceding claims, having an extinguishing agent source and an actuatable extinguishing agent nozzle,

the nozzle head (5) of the extinguishing agent nozzle (2) is provided with at least two different nozzle mouths (6) generating extinguishing agent jets which are asymmetrical with respect to rotational symmetry. - A device according to claim 5,
characterised in that
the nozzle head (5) is provided with a nozzle mouth (6) generating a penetrating jet and a further nozzle mouth (6a-6c). - A device according to claim 6,
characterised in that
the further nozzle mouth (6a or 6c or 6b) is constructed so as to generate an oscillating point jet (13), a fan jet (12) or an extinguishing agent mist (10). - A device according to claim 5 or one of the subsequent claims,
characterised in that
the nozzle mouths (6, 6c) for the penetrating jet (11) and for the fan jet (12) are constructed so as to be spatially separate from one another or so as to merge with one another at the nozzle head (5). - A device according to claim 5 or one of the subsequent claims,
characterised in that
the nozzle head (5) is provided with a screw thread (8) for screwing in variously shaped nozzle mouths. - A device according to claim 5 or one of the subsequent claims,
characterised in that
the nozzle head (5) takes the form of a retrofit component of plastics.
