Claims (17)

  1. A junction and thermal insulation profile interposed by threading between aluminium profiles (1, 2) used for the manufacture of windows, doors or French windows, in a monolithic shape, made of thermoplastic material, formed of at least two small bars (4, 5) which are fitted on their lateral rims with lug-type (8) assembly means whereof the section is dovetailed, which lugs are intended to be crimped in grooves (9) of appropriate section, of the same shape, provided on said aluminium profiles (1 and 2), which small bars are connected together by at least one wall forming an insulation screen, characterised in that it comprises means suitable to obtain a slight variation in the distance between said lugs (8) situated on the same side, for easier threading between the aluminium profiles (1, 2) and, simultaneously, improved assembly of the three components during the crimping operation.
  2. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to claim 1, characterised in that it comprises at least one flexible wall (6, 7, 67, 67') interposed between the small bars (4, 5), which flexible wall(s) enable to vary the centre distance between the lugs (8).
  3. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to claim 2, characterised in that it comprises a flexible wall (67) in the form of a dihedron arranged in the median section between the small bars (4, 5),

A junction and thermal insulation profile according to claim 10, characterised in that it comprises, in the case of rectilinear small bars, on at least its visible side. i.e. on its face liable to be exposed to weather conditions and others, an excessive thickness (20) which enables at least to fill in and to level the space between the aluminium profiles (1, 2).
  12. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to claim 11, characterised in that the excessive thickness (20) is formed of a hollow or full bead obtained as a single piece by extrusion or by coextrusion.
  13. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to claim 12, characterised in that the excessive thickness (20) is in the form of a voluminous caisson (51), of triangular section or other, for improved insulation.
  14. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the visible face of the profile comprises a shoulder (35) serving as a resting point for a batten seal, which shoulder is also obtained directly by extrusion or by coextrusion.
  15. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to any one of claims 11 to 14, characterised in that the excessive thickness (20), the caisson (51) and possibly the shoulder (35), are covered with a coextruded or added coating layer whereof the colour may be adapted to that of the aluminium profiles to be assembled.
  16. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to any one of daims 14 or 15, characterised in that it comprises a plane of symmetry serving as a median plane between the small bars (4, 5) usable in particular for the production of a counter-batten (40) in the case of a strike-type window with hidden inner frames for example.
  17. A junction and thermal insulation profile according to any one of claims 1 to 16, characterised in that it comprises one orifice (30) obtained by drilling perpendicular to the plane of the small bars (4, 5), which orifice enables to house an actuator (27) for wedging the chassis of the outer frame, the nut (28) of said actuator being for example locked at the orifice of at least one of said small bars.
