Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of footwear sports, especially those with a part rising stem such as snowboard boots, hiking shoes, shoes intended for specific sports such as paragliding, skating line or others.
  • the lower part generally includes return means of "closed” form such as loops, loops, eyelets, etc. which form a permanent circuit whatever the tightening tension as opposed to the return means of "open” shape of the rising part such as hooks or others which form a releasable circuit as soon as the voltage of tightening is released enough.
  • the rising stem a shoe is tightened by a lace which runs through a lower part and upper part of the rod.
  • the means of reversible locks are located between the vamp and the instep, that is to say very far from the top of the upper part where the lace is tied.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to remedy the disadvantages from lacing sports shoes.
  • one of the objects of the invention is provide a satisfactory solution by allowing a tightening differentiated according to the needs on a shoe sport ; in particular with a rising stem. Another goal is to make tightening faster and avoiding problems of shear.
  • a lace which includes a central portion and two end portions connecting to the central portion; the central portion having a section smaller than the section of the two portions end.
  • the lace is made in a single piece of continuous braid of threads.
  • said portion center is braided tighter than the end portions braided more loosely.
  • a small section of the lace in the central portion favors the clamping performance by reducing friction while a larger section of the end portions reduces the shear and improves grip when tightening and provides more progressive tightening here. So, we obtains a lace that perfectly meets the needs.
  • the part tighter has lower elongation and less flexibility than other portions; which gives it more tightening performance.
  • the extensibility and the flexibility of the end portions favor gripping, improve tightening progressiveness and reduce the risk of loosening.
  • a one-piece lace can be made in continuous by traditional braiding means so economical without causing resistance problems or other.
  • the invention also relates to the shoe of sport with such a lace.
  • FIG. 1 it is a shoe or boot 1 intended for snowboarding. Such a shoe must have a certain flexibility favoring the market. It is intended to be connected to a gliding board by a fixing device comprising tension straps adjustable (not shown).
  • the shoe includes a walking outsole 10, a flexible rod 11 attached to the sole.
  • the rod 11 comprises an anterior part or vamp 110 and a part of rising stem 111 extending the front part 110 up to cover the lower leg
  • the rod 11 has an opening 112 for the passage of the foot bounded by two anterior lateral quarters 110a, 110b of the front part and two upper lateral quarters 111a, 111b of the rising stem part.
  • the forequarters are of course connected to the upper districts and the limit between each other cannot always be determined precisely according to the type of construction of the shoe.
  • a tongue 114 is fixed to the front end of the shoe and partially covers the opening between the forequarters and extends between the quarters higher.
  • the rod 11 has a clamping device which includes a first series of return means 20 distributed in opposite manner on each anterior lateral quarter 110a, 110b in the part anterior of the rod and a second series of return means 21 distributed in opposite directions on each lateral quarter upper in the rising stem part for tightening the rod and partial closure of the opening 112.
  • the means of returning the first series 20 consist of closed loops 20a, 20b, 20c, 20d, 20th, 20f, 20g, 20h in the form of straps folded and whose ends are connected to the rod.
  • Such mode has the advantage of a construction with extra thickness minimal and is therefore suitable for insertion into a binding by snowboard straps without creating overpressures or hard spots located at the loops.
  • the ends of attachment loops are, for example, sewn on edges of each quarter 110a, 110b so that the portion in a proper loop overflows from each district to avoid an extra thickness.
  • the return means of the second series are preferably open hooks 21a, 21b, 21c, 21d, 21e, 21f connected to the stem; and more precisely to the upper quarters 111a, 111b.
  • each means 30a, 30b is connected to a band 113 sewn onto the rest of the rod structure, tightening improves foot support (?).
  • a lace 4 according to the invention is intended for tightening the rod 11.
  • the lace extends from the front part 110 to the top of the rising stem part 111.
  • the lace 4 includes a first portion or central portion 40 cooperating with the first series of return means 20 acting in clamping on said front quarters 110a, 110b and two second portions or end portions 41, 42 cooperating with the second series of return means 21 acting clamped on said upper quarters 111a, 111b and ending with two ends of free strands.
  • the central portion 40 has a section smaller than the section of the two end portions 41, 42.
  • Figure 1 shows the tightening operation of the part anterior 110 of the shoe.
  • the larger section of portions 41, 42 promotes good grip of the lace at the time to execute a traction effort of the two free strands of the lace ; while the lower section of the central portion 40 provides better clamping performance by reducing the friction in closed loops of the series of means reference 20.
  • the length of the central portion of yaw 4 is at least equal to the link circuit of the first series of return means 20.
  • the return means 30a, 30b can engage the beginning of the end portions 41, 42 to obtain some friction downstream of the series of means 20; conducive to maintaining a tightening of the front rod part.
  • the return means 30a, 30b can be replaced by yaw locking means capable of retaining the tightening tension of the front part before carrying out lacing and tightening of the rising rod part.
  • Figure 2 shows shoe 1 when the lacing is fully realized. Thanks to the lace of the invention which offers variable contact area with the means of reference, it is possible to obtain a relatively tightening differentiated between the front part 110 and the rising part 111 of the stem. The tightening is thus more homogeneous in each part and more adapted to the needs in terms of foot holding, sensations, comfort, etc.
  • Figures 3, 3a, 3b, 3c show an example of a lace according to the invention.
  • the central portion 40 has a smaller section than the section of the ends 40, 41.
  • section we mean the surface represented by the lace cut in a state without voltage.
  • the portion 40 has a periphery substantially circular to promote sliding whatever the twist of the lace portion.
  • the end portions 41, 42 may have as to they have a circular or non-circular periphery.
  • the lace is made in a single piece of braid of son.
  • the central portion will be braided tighter than the looser braided end portions.
  • the wire density is higher in portion 40 than in the other portions. This portion is therefore steeper and has a lower elongation; which improves his tightening efficiency in a loop type circuit "Closed".
  • Braiding is obtained continuously by techniques traditional braiding by means of braiding looms circular type and whose parameters are modified during the braiding to obtain the different characteristic portions.
  • the lace can be made in flexible threads of different nature such as in natural or synthetic material. He can be reinforced by a metallic core or include wires of metal mixed with flexible wires.
  • this invention is not limited to the embodiments described and includes any equivalent mode falling within the scope of claims below.
