Claims (13)

  1. Elément de construction destiné à l'utilisation dans la construction d'un toit pour un bâtiment ayant un mur à double peau pourvu d'une cavité entre ses peaux intérieure et extérieure, ledit élément de construction comprenant une unité en bloc (8') ayant une portion de couronnement intermédiaire (10'), une portion de surplomb extérieure (12) s'étendant vers le bas à angle droit par rapport à la portion de couronnement (10'), la portion de surplomb ayant une face extérieure servant de lambrequin/bandeau (14A), une face inférieure servant de soffite (14B) et une face intérieure, la portion de couronnement (10') étant formée avec une face supérieure plate s'étendant depuis son bord intérieur jusqu'à son bord extérieur et une face inférieure plate qui est parallèle à la face supérieure plate, caractérisé en ce que l'unité en bloc (8') a une portion de patte intérieure (9) s'étendant vers le bas à angle droit par rapport à la portion de couronnement (10'), la face inférieure de la portion de couronnement s'étendant depuis la face intérieure de la portion de surplomb (12) jusqu'à une face extérieure opposée de la portion de patte intérieure (9), la forme de la portion de couronnement (10') lui permettant d'être placée par-dessus, et d'enjamber la peau extérieure d'un mur à double peau (17), la portion de surplomb extérieure (12) faisant saillie vers l'extérieur au-delà de la peau extérieure, la face intérieure de la portion de surplomb (12) étant adjacente à l'extérieur de la peau extérieure.
  2. Elément de construction selon la revendication 1, et comportant une nappe de matériau isolant (28) fixée à une extrémité intérieure de l'unité en bloc (8').
  3. Elément de construction selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité intérieure de la portion de couronnement (10') est feuillée pour recevoir une nappe d'isolation thermique (28) de telle sorte que la portion de couronnement (10') et la portion de patte (9) aient au niveau de leur extrémité intérieure ladite nappe d'isolation thermique (28) venant en butée ou pratiquement en butée contre l'extérieur de la peau intérieure du mur à double peau (17).
  4. Elément de construction selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'un panneau marqué ou en retrait (26) est prévu dans la face supérieure plate, et au-dessus de la face inférieure plate de la portion de couronnement (10').
  5. Elément de construction selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que la face inférieure de la portion de surplomb (12) servant de soffite (14A) a un bord extérieur et un larmier (24) est prévu dans la face inférieure de la portion de surplomb (12) à proximité de son dit bord extérieur.
  6. Elément de construction selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que la portion de couronnement (10') est de même poids ou plus lourde que la portion de surplomb (12) afin de contrebalancer ou de surcompenser vers l'intérieur l'unité en bloc (8') lorsqu'elle est posée sur la peau extérieure d'un mur à double peau (17), ladite portion de surplomb (12) étant creuse ou possédant des cavités multiples, ou étant de configuration cellulaire.
  7. Elément de construction selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que l'unité en bloc (8') est fabriquée en un matériau durable quelconque.
  8. Elément de construction selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le matériau durable est un matériau cimentaire.
  9. Elément de construction selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisé en ce que la portion de couronnement (10') est de même poids ou plus lourde que la portion de surplomb (12) afin de contrebalancer ou de surcompenser vers l'intérieur l'unité en bloc (8') lorsqu'elle est posée sur la peau extérieure d'un mur à double peau (17), et où l'unité en bloc (8') est coulée à partir de deux mélanges cimentaires, l'un contenant un agrégat de pierre pour la portion de couronnement (10'), et l'autre contenant un agrégat léger pour la portion de surplomb (12) qui est massive.
  10. Elément de construction selon la revendication 7 ou 8, caractérisé en ce que l'unité en bloc (8') est moulée d'une manière telle que la face inférieure du surplomb servant de soffite (14B) et/ou la face extérieure du surplomb servant de lambrequin/bandeau (14A) soient pourvues d'un effet de grain de bois ou d'un autre effet ornemental.
  11. Elément de construction selon les revendications 7 à 10, caractérisé en ce le matériau cimentaire comprend un renfort constitué d'un tapis ou de fibres de matériau synthétique.
  12. Toit d'un bâtiment ayant un mur à double peau (17) pourvu d'une cavité entre ses peaux intérieure et extérieure et comprenant un élément de construction tel que revendiqué dans l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 11, caractérisé en ce que l'unité en bloc (8') est juxtaposée avec d'autres unités de ce type en série sur le dessus du mur (17).
  13. Elément de construction selon la revendication 1, lorsqu'il est utilisé sur un mur à une seule peau.
