Abstract
Eine Sicherheitseinrichtung an einer Pumpe weist eine Druckentlastungsleitung (20) auf, welche durch das Öffnen eines Entlastungsventils (16) die Auslaßleitung (22) mit der Einlaßleitung (12) verbinden kann. Hierdurch wird die Pumpe kurzgeschlossen und kann, z.B. bei übermäßiger Erhitzung, verdichtungsfrei zur Abkühlung weiterbetrieben werden. Außerdem kann so ein Entweichen von Gas in die Umgebungsatmosphäre verhindert werden. Das Öffnen des Entlastungsventils (16) wird vorzugsweise durch einen Störfalldetektor (4) veranlaßt, welcher das Überschreiten eines betriebsrelevanten Wertes, wie. z.B. Temperatur, Druck oder Vibrationsniveau erfaßt. As a result, the pump is short-circuited and can continue to be operated without compression for cooling, for example in the event of excessive heating. This also prevents gas from escaping into the surrounding atmosphere. The opening of the relief valve (16) is preferably caused by an accident detector (4) which detects that an operationally relevant value, such as. eg temperature, pressure or vibration level detected.
