Definitions
- the invention relates to an electrical socket, in particular an earthed socket, for flush mounting with an integrated in a central disc Plug pot with a side wall for the positive reception of a plug.
- Electrical sockets are known to serve for the detachable connection of electrical Consumers to an electrical supply network.
- the sockets with protective conductor contact usually have a so-called Plug pot in which the plug engages in a form-fitting manner.
- Plug pot in which the plug engages in a form-fitting manner.
- the intended Handling of such a connector is provided in such a way that the plug is fed perpendicular to the socket and inserted into it and removed in a corresponding manner, that is, orthogonal to the bottom of the pot the plug pot is pulled out. It is envisaged that the Handling takes place directly on the connector itself and not on the attached one Connecting cable.
- the plug is pulled out indirectly from the relevant socket by pulling the connecting cable.
- the commercially available electrical connection cables are not for such a tensile stress are provided and the connection between the connection cable and the plug can be interrupted with such handling, especially when the tensile stress is not perpendicular to the socket but from the side, on the socket in question not inconsiderable bending moments due to friction of the plug in the connector pot, which lead to a further increase in the pull-out forces required.
- This due to improper use of the plug-socket connection There may be damage to the socket, causing it to become detached the socket from the mounting surface is still the smallest problem.
- Such a design advantageously avoids the disadvantageous Crossing the socket because the plug is critical before reaching one transverse force, which is used to pull the socket out of the mounting surface is required slides out of the plug pot, but this construction is comparative complicated design and correspondingly expensive to manufacture.
- the side wall of the plug pot in is divided into at least four sectors, that at least two of these sectors in Plug direction are slidably arranged on slideways that are radially outward are inclined.
- the plug pots of electrical sockets and the assigned connector a mutually compatible outer contour. Accordingly a plug engages positively when plugged in, and with earthed sockets also non-positively, in the assigned plug pot.
- the invention avoids these additional forces by limiting the plug pot Pot wall is divided into sectors, which in the pulling direction of the plug are slidably arranged. Depending on the direction of the lateral tension of the connecting cable when the plug is pulled out, it slides Direction assigned sector with the connector as a result of each other Frictional forces until these frictional forces are eliminated. This happens by the divergence of the sectors, the attacking forces due to the design are always smaller than the holding forces of the socket in the mounting wall.
- the Protective conductor brackets provided in pairs are supported on the sectors and this gives the necessary contact force and that when sliding out sectors concerned, the opening angle of the protective conductor bracket increases and conversely the contact force is reduced so that the plug can slide out easily can.
- the solution according to the invention is compared to the proposed one "Ball variant" easier to manufacture and easier to assemble because of the the slidable sectors provided by itself or together with a central disc is used as a structural unit, the socket base can be taken from a conventional series.
- each of the movably arranged Sectors from a rest position, in which all sectors at the bottom of the pot abut, movable into an end position away from the bottom of the pot. It is provided that in the rest position all sectors are flush with the connector pot limit.
- each sector is movably arranged held by a guide on the central disc on a slide, the radially outwardly slideways for the movably arranged Sectors are not linear but curved outwards uniformly.
- the radius of curvature of the guide is advantageously greater than or equal to that Diameter of the plug pot.
- the course can be used as a guide for the slideways that serve to move the sectors parabolically be curved on the outside with a decreasing radius of curvature towards the edge.
- the guides are of this type provided that they are either arranged concealed or on the connector side the assigned movably arranged sectors of the plug socket flush to lock.
- Another embodiment provides that the guides on the central disc are integrally formed and that the central disc on the plug side with the movably arranged Sectors of the connector pot are flush with each other.
- a useful training provides that each moving sector of one Return spring is applied in the direction of its rest position, so that after removal the sectors moved forward on the plug side then automatically take their rest position.
- the response behavior of the movably arranged sectors can be set so that only from a certain transverse stress on the socket as a result of improper operation the plug or the connecting cable connected to it, the stressed sector leaves its position.
- Design of the socket according to the invention is independent of the type of the respective connector, that is, forehead connector or angled connector. Even with angled plugs, where the cable outlet is provided to the side is the function guaranteed the socket of the invention.
- Fig. 1 is a socket 10 according to the invention with a frame 12 and one Device base 14 shown in longitudinal section.
- the socket 10 which is used as an earthed socket is designed for flush mounting, has a plug pot 16 with a pot bottom 17.
- the socket 12 is in a wall socket 18 used in a mounting surface 11 and for receiving a corresponding shaped protective contact plug 20, as shown in Fig. 2 or 3, with grooves 22 and with protective conductor contact springs 24 and with pin insertion openings 25 provided, through which the plug pins 23 of the plug in contact with the here Plug contacts not shown come.
- the frame 12, which comprises the plug pot 16, has a curved edge which bears against the mounting surface 11.
- At least on the inside of the frame 12 two diametrically opposite, to the insertion side slidable sectors 26, 28 on which the grooves 22 and protective conductor contact springs 24 are molded.
- These sectors 26, 28 are each on guides 30 held, which are integrally formed on the frame 12.
- the guides 30 serve for the sectors 26, 28 guided thereon as slideways 32, which with increasing Distance from the bottom of the pot 17 are inclined radially outward, so that on this Slideways 32 slidably guided sectors 26, 28 when sliding out thereby simultaneously expanding the limited plug socket 16 in diameter.
- Either on the frame 12 and on the slidable sectors 26, 28 there are retaining cams 34, 36 integrally formed, between each of which a return spring 38 is arranged is, which applies the assigned sector 26, 28 to its rest position.
- the socket of FIG. 1 with an inserted plug 20 is a connecting line 21 shown in longitudinal section, the sectional view, just as in Fig. 1 and in Fig. 3 only the details essential to the invention reproduces, that is, the other details already known in the prior art are not shown in detail. Otherwise, the same characteristics with the the same reference numerals as in Fig. 1, that is, they apply unless they are otherwise stated, the corresponding explanations given for FIG. 1.
- FIG. 3 shows the arrangement according to FIG. 2, however, on it Connection line 21 pulled connector 20. It can be seen that the According to the direction of pull, a small piece of socket 10 is already in place has left and that the connector pins 23 are already out of the connector insertion openings 25 are pulled out and the plug 20 one to the bottom of the pot 17 takes an inclined position. The longitudinal axis of the plug 20 is corresponding the direction of pull of the connecting line 21 aligned, so that this train direction closest slidable sector 28 corresponding to this pull-out direction has also moved away from the bottom 17 of the pot. This is the assigned Return spring 38 compressed.
- the slideways 32 are preferably curved, according to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the radius of the curve with increasing Distance from the bottom of the pot 17 becomes smaller and, for example, a corresponding one parabolic curve follows. This is the previously described Separation of plug 20 and socket 10 favors, as this makes it very quick Widening of the plug pot with the corresponding tensile stress on the Connector 20 takes place.
