Abstract

The closure cap (1) with integrated pump (2) has a hollow piston rod (6) turnable and movable in a top aperture (5), and a pump housing (10) connected to the cap. The cap is non-turnably fastened to a container. The fastening consists of a positive locking connection, active in direction of turning (1), between cap and container. The cap is oval, and snap-fastened to the container neck. A locking projection (28) on the inside (27) of the cap acts with a complementary locking groove in the container neck.

Description

The invention relates to a closure cap for containers with an integrated dispenser pump. Such caps serve, for example, to promote cleaning or care liquids from a container. Such caps generally have a circular outline shape and are screwed onto the screw neck of a container in the assembled state. A pump housing is attached to the inside of the top cap wall when installed. A piston rod with pump pistons formed thereon is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner in the pump housing. The piston rod protrudes through an opening in the closure cap and carries a pump head at its free end. A radially outwardly projecting delivery nozzle is formed on the pump head.

In such caps, a locking device is provided, with the aid of which the pump head or the piston rod can be locked in a pressed-in or retracted position. This locking takes place, for example, by means of an external thread formed on the pump head, which interacts with a corresponding internal thread on the closure cap. In the locked position of the piston rod, a compression spring arranged in the pump is compressed. This preload causes increased frictional forces when the lock is released, i.e. when the pump head is turned counterclockwise. There is a risk that the closure cap is at least partially unscrewed from the container and the container is therefore no longer sealed. Liquid can then escape from the inside of the container. Closure caps are also known in which the locking does not take place by means of a screw connection, but rather in that the pump head snaps into the closure cap in the manner of a snap connection. Here, too, this snap connection is so firm due to the spring action that when the Pump head, for example in order to bring the dispensing nozzle into a position which is favorable for the removal of liquid, the closure cap is loosened.

Based on this, it is the object of the invention to propose a closure cap in which the disadvantages mentioned are avoided.

The solution to this problem is that the closure cap can be attached to a container in a rotationally fixed manner. In this way, the pump head or the piston rod of the dispenser pump can be rotated in any direction without the closure cap detaching from the container. An advantageous embodiment of this rotary fixation is that the closure cap can be fastened to the container by a positive connection that is effective in the direction of rotation. The closure cap preferably has an oval outline shape and can be fastened to the container in the manner of a snap connection. In this way, on the one hand, the internal thread on the closure cap, which can only be produced with increased injection molding outlay, is dispensed with. On the other hand, the automatic assembly of the closure cap on a container is considerably simplified. No screwing tools are required. The cap just has to be pushed onto the container very simply. The snap connection is advantageously designed such that an at least partially circumferential locking projection is present on the inside of the closure cap, which engages in a complementary locking groove on the outer circumference of a container neck or a container shoulder.

Ein weiteres Kugelventil 17 ist innerhalb der einen Förderkanal 18 umschließenden Kolbenstange 6 nahe dem Pumpenkopf 7 angeordnet.1 shows a closure cap 1 according to the invention with an integrated dispenser pump 2. It has an oval outline shape (Fig. 2). The wall 3 which closes the sealing cap 1 on top is drawn into the interior of the sealing cap and forms an approximately cup-shaped recess 4. The region of the wall 3 which forms the bottom 9 of the recess 4 has a central opening 5. In the opening 5 an internally hollow piston rod 6 is longitudinally displaceable and rotatable. On the end of the piston rod 6 protruding upward from the sealing cap 1, a pump head 7 with a delivery nozzle 8 formed thereon is placed. A pump housing 10 is fixed on the underside of the bottom 9. The piston rod 6 projects with its end facing away from the pump head 7 into the essentially cylindrical pump housing and has a piston 13 at this end. A pressure spring 14 is arranged in the pump housing 10, which is supported on the one hand on the pump housing and on the other hand on the piston 13 or on the piston rod 6. The pump housing 10 tapers at its lower end to an intake port 15 to which an intake hose 12 is attached. A ball valve 16 is arranged at the transition between the intake connector 15 and the pump housing 10. Another ball valve 17 is arranged within the piston rod 6 surrounding a delivery channel 18 near the pump head 7.

To lock the pump head 7 or the piston rod 6 in a retracted position, for example during the transport of containers equipped with closure caps of the present type, the pump head 7 is provided with a circumferential locking projection 19 on its outer circumference. In the locked state, this locking projection engages in a locking groove 20. The locking groove 20 is arranged on the inside of a collar 23 surrounding the opening 5 and extending from the base 9 in the direction of the pump head 7.

To lock the pump head, it is pressed down in the direction of arrow 24. The compression spring 14 is compromised. Finally, the locking projection 19 engages in the locking groove 20. In this position the pump head rotated in the direction of arrow 25, the torque exerted on the pump head is transmitted to the closure cap 1 as a result of the friction between the latching projection 19 and the latching groove 20, which is increased due to the prestressed compression spring 14. However, the cap 1 is oval according to the invention (Fig.2), so that the cap is securely fixed to the container 22 (Fig.2) in the direction of rotation 11. The closure cap 1 is fixed in the direction of its central longitudinal axis 26 by a snap connection between the closure cap and the container 22. For this purpose, the closure cap has on its inside 27 a plurality of locking projections 28 which extend in the circumferential direction and protrude approximately radially inwards and which, in the assembled state, are in one appropriately designed locking groove (not shown) can be snapped onto a container neck. It is also conceivable for an annular circumferential projection to be present on the inside 27 instead of a plurality of locking projections.

To release the locking of the pump head, simply pivot in the direction of arrow 29. The locking projection 19 is lifted out of the locking groove 20. To facilitate this, the collar 23 is provided with a plurality of longitudinal slots 21. It is divided into several sections in the shape of a circular arc.
