Nach dem Durchtrennen der Warenbahn wird durch den oben beschriebenen Verschwenkmechanismus 14 über die drehbare Ringscheibe 19 sowie den Hebel 22 die Verbindungsstange 16 auf einem konzentrischen Kreis 20 bewegt, so wie das aus Fig. 9 ersichtlich ist und zwar solange und so weit, bis die Andrückrollen 18 kurz vor Erreichen der Kontaktstelle zwischen der Andrückwalze 3 und der Wickelhülse 5 zum Stehen kommen. Durch diese Schwenkbewegung der Verbindungsstange 16 und der Andrückelemente wird der Warenbahnanfang einwandfrei und ohne Falten sowie ohne Verwendung von Klebstoff sicher um die Wickelhülse 5 herumgelegt.
