Abstract

Ein in einem Gehäuse (11) in Schmalbauweise untergebrachtes elektrisches Installationsschaltgerät (10), insbesondere ein Leitungsschutzschalter, besitzt eine Kontaktstelle, einen thermischen und einen magnetischen Auslöser (20, 16) und eine Widerstandsanordnung mit einem positivem Temperaturkoeffizienten, die auch vereinfacht PTC-Widerstand genannt wird. Diese Komponenten befinden sich alle in Reihe. Der PTC-Widerstand (36) ist seitlich zu dem Installationsgerät (10) in einem durch ein napfförmiges Schalengehäuse (60) begrenzten Raum untergebracht, wobei die freien Kanten des Schalengehäuses gegen die Seitenfläche des Installationsschaltgerätes (10) anliegen. Das Schalengehäuse (60) weist dabei die Außenkontur des Installationsschaltgerätes (10) auf.
