Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verbinder (2) zur mechanischen Verbindung von Hohlkammerprofilen (1) mit Pfosten- oder Sprossenprofilen (3) im Fenster- und Türenbau. Der Verbinder (2) ist dabei in die Hohlkammer (31) des Pfosten- oder Sprossenprofils (3) eingesetzt und mit diesem über ein mechanisches Verbindungsmittel (32, 33), welches durch das metallische Verstärkungsprofil (12) des Hohlkammerprofils (1) hindurchgreift, verspannt. Der Verbinder (2) selbst besteht aus einem Oberteil (21) und einem Unterteil (22). Das Unterteil (22) ist ein Hohlprofil mit einem oberen Abschluß (222), von welchem mittig ein Führungsdorn (221) mit einer zentralen Durchgangsöffnung in den lichten Innenraum (223) des Unterteils (22) abragt. In die zentrale Durchgangsöffnung des Führungsdorns (221) greift ein vom Oberteil (21) abragender, zentraler Ansatz (212) ein. Dieser zentrale Ansatz (212) weist eine mittige, durchgehende Schrauböffnung (211) für den Eingriff des mechanischen Verbindungsmittels (14) auf. An der Trennstelle zwischen Oberteil (21) und Unterteil (22) ist eine Schicht (23) dauerplastischen Dichtstoffs eingebracht.
