Abstract

The connector comprises a base plate (2) which is fixed to the support. A metal rod (1) fixed to the base plate and extending perpendicularly from it acts as a slab frame. The rod is rigidly articulated to the base plate and welded to it by its foot (11). The rod is pivoted by a trapezoidal gusset plate (17,18) which extends from the base plate and is welded to the rod near an edge (20) distant from the base plate. The base plate is fixed to the support along a line outside the line of fixing to the rod.

Description

The present invention relates to an anchor connector for a concrete slab on a metal support, such as a steel profile of a metal frame, comprising a base, arranged to be pressed and fixed to the support, and a metal rod, fixed to the base and extending perpendicular to the base to serve as a reinforcement for the concrete slab.

We already know connectors of this type. They aim to oppose a net relative slippage of the slab and the support but allowing tiny amounts displacements when the entire composite structure is loaded, everything preserving the resistance of the connectors. In a nutshell, these connectors and a concrete slab being "hooked" to a plurality thereof, should be with good ductility and support with a harmonious distribution between them the load forces, mainly shear and tearing.

By FR-A-2 317 438, there is known an angle type connector comprising a support leg, forming a base, extended by an anchoring branch, the whole in one piece. The anchor branch of this connector cannot flex and deform in all directions. As a result, a plurality of such connectors do not distribute the forces harmoniously between them dump.

By EP-A-0 504 500, we know a connector comprising a base and a rod riveted in a central opening of the base. Connectors of this type, to rod fixed to the base, allow a harmonious distribution of the charge. However, the rods of these connectors are subjected to efforts important and may therefore break. Such connectors do not have a satisfactory ductility.

Commercial connectors are therefore not entirely satisfactory and the inventor set out to invent one whose ductility is very good.

The invention therefore relates to an anchoring connector for a concrete slab on a support metallic, said connector comprising a base, arranged to be plated and fixed to the support, and a metal rod, fixed to the base and extending perpendicular to the base to serve as a reinforcement for the concrete slab, characterized in that the rod is rigidly articulated to the base by at less a hinge gusset arranged to deform and extend the base perpendicular to it and fixed to the rod near an edge of the gusset away from the base and it is welded to it by its foot.

The rod is thus fixed to the base by two upper and lower zones separated from each other and transmitting its forces to the base by the gusset deformable joint. Thanks to this, the rod can bend and deform, which avoids any abutment effect detrimental to the good performance of the concrete slab.

Advantageously, the base is designed to be fixed to the support along a line outside of which is the lower area for fixing the rod to the base.

Preferably, the articulation gusset is fixed to the rod by welding.

More preferably, the rod is articulated to the base of the connector by two substantially trapezoidal gussets extending the base by their large bases and welded to the rod in the areas of the ends opposite the base on their sides extending along the stem.

Still preferably, the base and the gusset are formed by folding a sheet blank.

Advantageously also, the base is extended by stiffeners, a frontal stiffener and a lateral stiffener extending laterally the gusset of articulation.

Advantageously also, the rod has an enlarged section head arranged to transmit the tearing forces of the support slab to the base.

Le connecteur d'ancrage qui va maintenant être décrit comporte une tige cylindrique métallique 1, ici en acier, et une embase 2The anchoring connector which will now be described comprises a rod cylindrical metal 1, here made of steel, and a base 2

The base 2, obtained after cutting and folding a sheet blank 3 (FIG. 4), has here an overall shape of an isosceles triangle, with a frontal base 4, a vertex rear 5 opposite the base, two long sides 6, 7 from the top 5 and connected to base 4, not to vertices, but by two short sides 8, 9 perpendicular to the base 4. The base 2 is pierced with three holes, one 10, near the top 5, to receive the stem base 11, and the other two 12, 13, the along a line 16 parallel to the base 4, between this base 4 and the vertex 5, to receive fixing pads 14, 15 (Figure 3). We will note right now already here that the rod 1 is therefore fixed in the lower part to the base 2 in a area thereof spaced from line 16 of its attachment to the support. Base 2 is extended, beyond its two long sides 6, 7, by two trapezoids rectangles 17, 18 raised, after folding around these long sides, in planes perpendicular to the base. These trapezoids serve as gussets of articulation. Before folding, the small bases 19, 20 of the trapezoidal gussets are connected to the large bases 6, 7 by sides 21, 22 extending the short sides 8, 9 of the base 2, on the one hand, and by sides 23, 24 substantially perpendicular to the base-sides 6, 7, on the other hand. After having raised the trapezoidal portions 17, 18 of the blank 3, the sides 23, 24 are practically adjacent.

Base 2 is also extended beyond its base 4 and its two short sides 8, 9, by three rectangular portions 25, 26, 27 raised, after folding around these bases and short sides, in planes perpendicular to the base. These rectangles serve as front and side stiffeners.

After having noted the trapezoidal portions 17, 18 and rectangular 26, 27 of the blank 3, the lateral stiffeners 26, 27 also extend laterally and substantially at right angles to the trapezoidal gussets 17, 18 which, respectively two by two, are practically adjacent.

The rod 1, at the end opposite to its foot 11, has a section head 28 enlarged.

The rod 1 is slightly fitted into the base 2 by its foot 11 and the base hole 10, to extend perpendicular to the base and is there fixed, in this lower zone, by an inner weld 29. The rod 1 is also attached to the articulation gussets 17, 18, in an upper zone, by another weld, outside, 30. This weld 30 is produced in the zone of the ends, opposite to the base 2, of the sides 23, 24 of the gussets articulation 17, 18, which extend along the rod 1. It can also be said that the rod is fixed to the gussets 17, 18 near their edges 19, 20 distant from base 2.

Thus, the rod 1 is rigidly articulated to the base 2 via the gussets 17, 18 and the two zones 29, 30 separated from one another, for fixing from the rod 1 to the gussets 17, 18 and to the base 2. It is by these gussets deformable articulation 17, 18 that the rod 1 transmits its forces to the base.

A plurality of connectors, like the one just described, are used for anchoring a concrete slab 31 on a metal support 32 of the profiled type in steel with a metal frame, with or without tray 33 in ribbed sheet like the one shown in figure 8. Still as shown in this figure, the support 32 here comprises an upper sole 34 on which are fixed the connector bases 2. Each connector is therefore fixed to the support by two buffers 14, 15 passed through the base holes 12, 13 and sealed in the support using a cartridge sealing tool of the type gun.

Referring to Figures 5-7, Figure 5 illustrates the effect of a load on the rod 1 directed forward perpendicularly to the line 16 for fixing the base 2 on the support, with bending deformation of the two articulation gussets 17, 18. In Figure 6, the load is directed backwards perpendicular to the fixing line 16. In this case, the gussets 17, 18 are not deformed. In FIG. 7, the load is directed parallel to the fixing line 16. In this case, the rod 1 being offset relative to this line, the gusset upstream articulation 17, subjected to traction, is not deformed, but the downstream gusset 18, subjected to compression, the east, by buckling.

In general, all the deformations of the rod and the base allows a slight relative sliding of the slab 31 and the support 32 with a excellent level of ductility.

The front and side stiffeners not only stiffen the base 2 in bending but contribute to increasing the sections of the critical zones at the shear.
