- the mixing housing Due to the counterflow effect of the stirring apparatus on the carrier liquid there occurs in the mixing housing on the one hand a flow in the main flow direction and on the other a part-flow in opposing direction whereby the additive is mixed vigorously with the carrier liquid. Because of the non-round form of the housing the main flow will be situated along the outside of the housing while the counterflow takes place centrally in the housing. The good mixing of the substances results from the vigorous shearing action between both flows.
- the port for the additive is preferably arranged in the side wall of the housing, i.e. it is directly entrained in the main flow which is subsequently fed back into the counterflow in the central part. It is herein also possible to introduce the additive via a guide tube directed from the port toward the central shaft so that this additive directly enters the counterflow.
- the blade assembly is constructed from two groups of blades which are fixed at a mutual distance to the rotation shaft thereof, it is recommended to have the guide tube debouch on the side of at least the leading blade assembly remote from the feed opening for the carrier liquid.

Claims (8)
- Vorrichtung zum Mischen einer Trägerflüssigkeit mit einem oder mehreren Additiven, aufweisend ein geschlossenes Gehäuse (1) mit einer Einlass- (6) und einer Auslassöffnung (17) für die Flüssigkeit und einer Einführöffnung (16) für das oder jedes Additiv zusätzlich zu einem darin untergebrachten Mischwerk, wobei das Mischwerk von wenigstens einer drehbar angetriebenen Blattanordnung (14, 15) gebildet wird, deren Drehwelle (9) mittig in dem im Querschnitt unrunden Gehäuse (1) aufgenommen ist, welche unrunde Form des Gehäuses bewirkt, dass die Hauptströmung zwischen dem Einlass und dem Auslass im Wesentlichen entlang der Außenseite des Gehäuses liegt, wobei die Einlassöffnung im Wesentlichen dem Mischwerk gegenüberliegend angeordnet ist, welches zum Ausüben einer Schubwirkung an der Flüssigkeit in der Richtung zu der Einlassöffnung hin zum Erzeugen einer Gegenströmung gestaltet ist, wobei die starke Scherwirkung zwischen der Gegenströmung und der Hauptströmung in einer guten Mischung resultiert.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung (16) für das Additiv in der Seitenwand des Gehäuses angeordnet ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Führungsrohr (24), das zu der Drehwelle der Blattanordnung hin ausgerichtet ist, mit der Öffnung für das Additiv in Verbindung steht.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Führungsrohr an der Seite wenigstens der vorlaufenden Blattanordnung entfernt von der Einlassöffnung (6) für die Trägerflüssigkeit mündet.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die vorlaufende Blattanordnung mit einem Teil, welches eine axiale Schubwirkung hat, und einem Teil, welches eine radiale Schubwirkung hat, versehen ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Teil mit der axialen Schubwirkung konzentrisch um das Teil mit der radialen Schubwirkung herum liegt.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung für das Additiv in einem Wandteil des Gehäuses angeordnet ist, das dem Mischwerk am nächsten liegt.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Querschnitt des Gehäuses eine polygonale, vorzugsweise viereckige Form hat.
