Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a moisture absorption device including a liquid recovery tank, a load of product hygroscopic and means for supporting this load above the tank.
  • the means of support include a simple grid or the like which is arranged in through the opening in the upper side of the tank and on which the load of hygroscopic material conditioned in a sheath or in a fabric permeable to humid air and water.
  • Hygroscopic material is a material capable of absorbing moisture air and turn it into brine.
  • This material which presents itself usually in the form of granules, mostly contains a active substance of the calcium chloride type, possibly mixed with another substance.
  • the active ingredient is an irritant, the skin and eye contact should be avoided. In addition, avoid breathe the dust.
  • the material hygroscopic conditioned in its permeable sheath is, before its use, packed in a waterproof bag. To use it, you must open the waterproof bag and directly manipulate the sheath to place it on Grid. Due to the irritant nature mentioned above, the need to directly handling the sheath is a notable drawback being understood that, the sheath being permeable, contact with the sheath containing the material hygroscopic inevitably leads to contact with this material herself.
  • the material hygroscopic is initially contained in a packaging which is necessary fully open before pouring the contents into a box provided air circulation perforations. We then close this box using a removable wall and it is placed above the tank. This manipulation, which involves direct contact with the granules of hygroscopic material, is dangerous.
  • Patent application EP-A-0 116 239 shows a device of this type. type, in which the hygroscopic load is contained in a nacelle fitted with a rim which is placed on the rim of the tank to suspend the nacelle inside the latter. A perforated cover allowing the passage air is then placed on the nacelle.
  • This cover can be removed very easily, so that even a child can have direct access to the hygroscopic load. Moreover, he remove the cover and then the basket when you want to empty the tank, this which almost inevitably involves contact with matter hygroscopic.
  • Patent application GB-A-2,067,428 shows another device in which the hygroscopic load is placed on a grid which rests in through the opening of the tank, a perforated cover supported by the edge of the tray then being placed above this load.
  • This device presents the same disadvantages as the previous one.
  • the present invention applies to an absorption device humidity comprising a liquid recovery tank having a wall side, a bottom wall and an open upper face, as well as a charge of hygroscopic product having at least one wall permeable to air wet and wet, the device further comprising support means of the basket above the tank.
  • the invention proposes to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks by providing a device of the type defined above which makes it possible to simplify setting up or replacing the hygroscopic material load and to avoid, both during these manipulations and when emptying the tank, any direct or indirect contact with this material.
  • the support means include an openwork support member capable of being placed above the tank, said support element having an openwork side wall, an open lower face capable of being located opposite the upper face of the tray when the support element is placed above the latter and a open upper face, that the nacelle has dimensions adapted to allow its introduction into the perforated element of the support by the face upper open of the latter, that said nacelle is suspended from a upper wall element capable of being placed across the opening of the upper face of the openwork support element, and that the device comprises means for retaining said upper wall element in said opening.
  • the invention makes it possible to put the charge of matter hygroscopic in place by handling the nacelle. On this occasion, it is very easy to hold the carrycot without having any direct or indirect contact with the hygroscopic matter. It suffices for example to hold it by its element of upper wall which then plays the role of a gripping member. Setting place of the basket is very simple since it is enough to let it slide through the opening of the upper face of the openwork support element until that the means for retaining the upper wall element of the nacelle play their part.
  • the device forms a compact assembly.
  • the load of hygroscopic material is both protected by the element openwork support in itself and by the nacelle in which it is contained and which is closed upwards by the upper wall element, this which constitutes a double security making it possible for example to prevent a child animated by a natural curiosity does not touch this irritating matter.
  • Figures 1 and 2 show a moisture absorption device 10 which comprises a container 12 for recovering liquid 14.
  • the container has a wall side 16, a bottom wall 18 and an open upper face 20. It has substantially the shape of a parallelepiped, its side wall being however very slightly inclined with respect to the vertical, so that the tray is flared up. Its upper side is completely open, so that only the upper edge 16a of the side wall 16 remains on this face.
  • an openwork support element 22 Above the tank 12 is arranged an openwork support element 22. It has an openwork side wall 24, an open bottom face 26 capable of be next to the upper face 20 of the tank and of dimensions similar to those of the latter, as well as an upper face 28 which, it also, is open. Thus, under conditions of use, the lower end of the support element rests on the upper end of the tank.
  • This element openwork support therefore generally has the shape of a parallelepiped the underside of which is completely open and delimited by the edge lower 24 'of the side wall and the upper face of which has a opening 29, visible in Figure 3, leaving a rim 28a.
  • the front and rear faces 24a and 24b are however slightly inclined by vertical and move closer to each other upwards.
  • the side wall 24 of the support element 22 has on its front and rear faces 24a and 24b, the appearance of a grid. In effect, vertical lights 23 between which bars remain 25 are regularly practiced on these faces. On the other hand, the left and right 24c and 24d of the side wall 24 remain full. It should be noted that other embodiments are possible, the main thing being that the days in the side wall are large enough and regularly distributed for ventilation.
  • a nacelle 30 is disposed inside the element openwork support.
  • This basket contains a load of product hygroscopic 32. It has at least one air-permeable wall wet and wet. In the example shown, this is the case of the front faces and rear 34a and 34b of the side wall 34 of the nacelle. However, the background 36, as well as the sides of the side wall, are full.
  • front and rear faces 34a and 34b of the nacelle are inclined and moving away from each other upwards. This provision allows the brine produced by the transformation of moist air under the action of hygroscopic material to flow regularly and without difficulty by the front and rear sides of the nacelle and, this, although the bottom 36 of the latter is full.
  • the nacelle In condition of use, the nacelle is arranged inside the openwork support element 22. More specifically, it has transverse dimensions at most equal to the dimension of the opening 29 of the upper face 28 of the support element 22, which allows its introduction through this opening.
  • the nacelle 30 is suspended from an upper wall element 38 which forms a solid wall. This nacelle remains correctly positioned in the support element 22 in condition of use thanks to the fact that the device comprises means for retaining the upper wall element 38 in opening 29.
  • the retaining means may include any type of stapling, hooking or clipping.
  • the upper wall element 38 has dimensions greater than those of the opening 29 and, consequently, greater than the maximum transverse dimensions of the nacelle 30.
  • it has a rim 40 which extends overhang relative to the wall lateral 34 of the nacelle. This rim is able to rest on the edge 29a of opening 29.
  • the edge 29a of the opening 29 has a offset adapted to receive the flange 40.
  • the left and right sides 24c and 24d of the side wall 24 of the support element 22 have ribs vertical 24 'which serve to guide the nacelle during its introduction and wedge laterally.
  • the retaining means allow not only to hold the basket down, but also up. AT for this purpose, they have an elastic tab 42, shown in lines dotted in Figure 2 and better visible in the detailed views of Figures 4 and 5.
  • This tab 42 extends downward from the wall element upper 38 and has at least one portion 44 projecting outwards.
  • the perforated support element meanwhile, has a clearance 46 formed on its lateral face and capable of receiving the projecting portion 44.
  • this clearance 46 is even constituted by local drilling.
  • Two elastic tabs 42 are provided, each extending from one side of the upper wall element 38.
  • the holes 46 are located on the sides 24c and 24d of the perforated support element.
  • the underside 44a of the protruding area 44 is shaped like a ramp raised towards the outside, so as to stress the tab 42 so that it temporarily departs from the side 24c or 24d of the element of openwork support when you insert the carrycot into it.
  • tab 42 returns to its position natural due to its elasticity and the protruding portion 44 is retained in the drilling 46.
  • this manipulation is facilitated by the fact that the legs 42 extend as an extension of support legs 48, larger dimensions. It is therefore directly by pressing the legs 48 to bring them inward that can be disengaged carrycot.
  • the legs 48 have a complementary shape of those of cutouts 50 formed in the sides 24c and 24d of the element of support 22. When the basket is in the use position, the end lower of the legs 48 rests in abutment on the edge of the cutouts 50.
  • the functioning of the system would be identical if, instead of the holes 46, were made simple recess areas on the inner wall sides 24c and 24d, suitable for receiving the outwardly projecting portions 44 of legs 42.
  • the openwork support element is kept in its position of use on the tank, to avoid the risk of displacement relative of these two elements.
  • the container 12 has, in the vicinity of the edge of the opening of its upper face, constituted by the upper end 16a of the side wall 16, of the first holding means, while the openwork support element 22 present, in the vicinity of the edge of the opening of its lower face, constituted by the lower end 24 'of its wall lateral 24, second holding means able to cooperate with the first to hold the perforated support element above the tank.
  • first and second holding means can be produced under the form of all types of attachment or clipping systems. However, it it is advantageous that they include, on the one hand, at least one elastic tab 52 having a portion 54 projecting outwards and, on the other hand, at minus a clearance or an orifice 56 capable of receiving this portion in protrusion.
  • the tabs 52 equip the ends upper sides of the side wall 16 of the tank, while the openings 56 are formed on the sides of the side wall 24 of the perforated element of support.
  • the tabs would equip the openwork element with support while the clearances or the orifices would equip the tank.
  • the ends of the legs could be shaped like a ramp for encourage them to move away elastically when the element is placed openwork support 22 on the tank. In the example shown, this is not necessary since the sides 24c and 24d of the element 22 are flared down.
  • the legs 42 and 48 previously mentioned can be shaped like the legs 52.
  • the upper and lower ends of the support element have conjugated forms.
  • the upper end 16a of the side wall 16 of the container 12 has a recessed portion in which engages an extension of the lower end 24a of the openwork support element 22.
  • the nacelle 30 comprises an armature having at least one portion of perforated wall.
  • the front and rear faces of the nacelle are perforated.
  • the frame 60 has a bottom, which constitutes the bottom 36 of the nacelle, two sides, and two faces, respectively front and rear, provided with bars 62 between which are provided large windows 64.
  • the frame 60 is advantageously made in a single piece of material molded plastic.
  • a sheath 66 permeable to humid air and to water is fixed across windows 64.
  • two sheath coupons are respectively fixed on the front and rear sides of the frame and cover almost all of these faces.
  • the sheaths are covered by a peelable waterproof plastic film, which it is enough to remove just before the placing the nacelle in the openwork support element so that the hygroscopic load can play its role by being in contact with air wet.
  • the upper wall element 38 is fixed to the rest of the frame after placing the hygroscopic load inside the nacelle.
  • the frame itself has a relative rigidity, it has a base which constitutes the bottom 36 and uprights which constitute the sides, relatively rigid. Thus, the nacelle can naturally rest on its base before its placement in the openwork support element.
  • the bottom of the nacelle protrudes slightly down beyond the edge lower 24a of the side wall 24 of the perforated support element. If we just want to empty tray 12 without changing the basket, just remove the assembly constituted by the perforated support element and by the nacelle in releasing the legs 52 and installing this assembly which rests naturally based on the nacelle. At no time is it necessary to have a contact, direct or indirect, with the nacelle. If the basket was shorter, we could do the same by placing the assembly on the lower edge 24 'of the side wall 24 of the support element.
  • the tray 12 has means for viewing the level of liquid inside this tank. These means are advantageously constituted by a simple window 70 defined by a substantially transparent area of the side wall 16 of the tank.
  • the window 70 is advantageously located on the front face of the side wall 16.
  • the container 12 can be made of molded plastic, as well as the openwork support element and that the upper wall element 38.
  • permeable wall (s) of the nacelle is or are located opposite the perforated wall or walls of the support element 22. To facilitate the circulation of air, these walls are distant (E) from each other other.
  • FIG. 1 shows a hook 80 (in broken broken lines), fixed (permanently or removable) to the upper wall element 38 and allowing the attachment of the device to an object such as a rod, a peg or the like.
  • the reference 81 of FIG. 2 shows that such a hook can, as desired, be rather produced, on the rim 28a of the element 22.
