Bei der Ausführung gemäss den Figuren 4A und 4B ist ein Steg 23 ebenfalls mit einer massiven Verdickung 24 versehen. Zur geeigneten Verlängerung sind Verlängerungsstücke mit unterschiedlichen Längen, beispielsweise 5 und 10 mm vorgesehen. Stehen ein Satz solcher Verlängerungsstücke 26 sowie unterschiedlich lange Stege 23 zur Verfügung, so wird die Lagerhaltung wesentlich vereinfacht, da die Gehäuseteile 2 dann alle gleich lang sein können. Eine Anpassung der Länge des Schliesszylinders 1 an die örtliche Gegebenheit ist dann jederzeit in einfacher Weise möglich. Claims (6)

  1. Mortise-type double lock cylinder for a safety lock, having two cylinder cores (16) which are arranged in a housing and actuate a locking bit (6) via a coupling (7), which coupling (7) has a dead angle of rotation such that, during rotation of one cylinder core (16) through 360°, the locking bit (6) is rotated through a smaller angle of rotation, which housing has a web which is thickened above the fore-end screw, characterized in that the housing has two separately produced housing parts (2) which are connected by a likewise separately produced web (18, 23, 28, 32) which has a solid thickened portion between said housing parts (2), above the fore-end screw bore (4), in that the web (18, 23, 28, 32) has two arms (19, 25) which each engage in a recess (21, 27) of one of the two housing parts (2), said housing parts (2) each having a planar inner side (5), against which the thickened portion (3, 24) of the web (18, 23, 28, 32) butts, in that the web (18, 23, 28, 32) is thickened between the housing parts (2) essentially as far as the circumference of a driver of the coupling (7) and, between the two housing parts, has an extension (3, 24, 29) which projects upwards in relation to the two arms (19, 25) and butts flatly against the housing parts (2) on the sides, and in that at least one housing part (2) is extended, on the coupling side (5), by way of an intermediate element (26) which has essentially the same profile as said housing part (2), and this intermediate element (26) has a planar inner side against which the thickened portion (3, 24) of the web (18, 23, 28, 32) butts.
  2. Lock cylinder according to Claim 1, characterized in that the web (18, 23, 28) is forged from a single piece along with the extension (3, 24, 29).
  3. Lock cylinder according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the web (23) comprises a plurality of plates (33) positioned one against the other.
  4. Lock cylinder according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the housing parts (2) comprise lamellae (22) which are positioned one against the other and are fixed to one another.
  5. Lock cylinder according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the web (18, 23, 28, 32) and the housing parts (2) are produced from different materials, the web preferably being produced from quenched and tempered steel and the housing parts (2) preferably being produced from brass or cast zinc.
  6. Lock cylinder according to one of Claims 1 to 5, having a mortise lock into which the lock cylinder is inserted, characterized in that the housing (37) of the mortise lock (35) has a recess (38) for the through-passage of the driver cam (6a) of the locking bit (6), and said recess (38) for the driver cam (6a) is provided in the open position of the lock.
