Definitions
- the present invention relates to safety for transporting or storing objects of value, including banknotes, or objects confidential, such as exam topics or official acts. It also relates to a process for their manufacture.
- pockets as containers such as in particular bags, sachets, pockets, envelopes, etc ...
- the present invention akin to the pocket sector comprising at least two sheets linked together on a part at less of their periphery.
- the connection between the two sheets is obtained for example by gluing or welding hot, or is the result of folding one on the other of the two ends of the same initial part whose surface covers the respective surfaces of two aforementioned sheets.
- the pocket is sealed.
- the sealing is: carried out in particular by adhesive or hot welding, or any other means allowing close the airtight opening the pocket after the introduction of the object (objects) in the pocket.
- safety pockets are used in particular in safety transport systems including containers in which are placed said pockets, said containers being designed to detect any attempted break-in and release on said pockets an indelible marking product.
- the object of the present invention is to respond to this need and remedy the drawbacks of art prior. It offers a security pocket intended to contain objects assembled in a bundle and to be sealed before being deposited at the interior of a container for the transport of said objects, the material of which component and / or the sealing means give it ownership of keep visible traces of any break-in or attempted break-in, having, on at least one region of at least one of said sheets, perforations to let penetrate towards the objects contained inside said pocket a marking product, in particular in the form of a gas, a liquid or a powder, these two sheets each having sides connected between them and form the side edges of said pocket in its empty configuration, and these perforations being aligned so as to form several parallel rows at the side edges of said pocket in its empty configuration.
- It is characterized in that it is made of plastic and is arranged to form in full configuration a parallelepiped of which at least one of the faces which are directly placed next to the edges of the objects gathered in a bundle has rows of perforations with a rate of perforation greater than or equal to 5%.
- the marking product can be delivered in particular in liquid form (for example an ink), or in gaseous form (for example a smoke), or still in the form of a powder.
- liquid form for example an ink
- gaseous form for example a smoke
- the perforation rate does not exceed a critical value.
- This critical value may vary from pocket to pocket. It is a function of a number of parameters, such as the nature of the material of the bag, the thickness of the sheets, the shape and the size of the perforations.
- the latter may have, at least on the around each of the two sheets, an area devoid of perforations, said reinforcement zone.
- this reinforcement zone also makes it possible to respect the tolerance conditions required during the manufacture of the bag, to avoid cut or weld sheets on an area with perforations.
- the arrangement of the perforations must allow the product to marking issued to reach almost instantly all the objects contained in the pocket.
- the rows of perforations are arranged and in sufficient number to cover the two opposite sides of the pocket in its full configuration which are directly opposite the slices objects gathered in a bundle.
- the consecutive rows of perforations are offset two by two, so that all of the perforations have repeated quincunx patterns.
- This pocket 1 has a shape substantially rectangular. It is made up of two substantially parallel rectangular sheets 2 and 3, obtained from a larger initial leaf folded in half. The edge resulting from the bend constitutes the bottom 4 of the pocket 1. The sides of each of the sheets 2 and 3 located respectively on the side and on the other side of the bottom 4 are heat welded, thus forming the side edges 6 and 7 of the pocket 1.
- the sheet 3 On the side of the opening 8, the sheet 3 is more longer than sheet 2, so that it can be folded on the sheet 2 as indicated by arrow 9. It has towards its free end a sealing means 10 consisting of a sticky strip intended to adhere to said sheet 2, and thus seal the pocket 1.
- the pocket 1 has perforations 12 distributed on its surface.
- the perforations 12 are distributed over the entirety of the useful surface of the pocket 1.
- the perforations 12 are distributed over the rows 13, 14 so that they form substantially a regular grid of rows 13, 14 and columns 15 on the surface of the pocket 1, as we can see it more precisely in figure 2.
- the present invention is not limited to this mode distribution of the perforations 12. It is easy to consider other modes, such as that which is illustrated in figure 3.
- Such a distribution is interesting for transport or storage in pocket 1 objects stored parallel to each other and whose own thickness is significantly less than the distance between two neighboring perforations 12 in the same row 13 or 14, for example banknotes bank.
- the marking product penetrating inside of pocket 1 through the perforations 12 reached by this way more tickets with the "staggered” layout than with "staggered” layout grid ".
- FIGs 4 5 and 6 is illustrated a specific application of bags 1 according to the invention, used for the transport of banking products, like tickets or check books. Their dimensions are then adapted to this application. Items, gathered in a bundle, are introduced into pocket 1, and give it a substantially shaped volume parallelepiped, as seen in Figure 4.
- the dimensions of the paralleleped are noted A, B and C, A and B corresponding substantially to the length and the width of the objects, C the thickness of the bundle.
- the pocket 1 In its empty configuration, the pocket 1 does not has almost no thickness dimension (except the thickness of the sheets 2, 3). It is formed therefore in its full configuration, nozzles 18, the presence does not interfere with the normal use of the pocket 1.
- the pockets 1 thus filled are collected and placed side by side in a container 19, suitable for security transport of banking objects.
- a container 19 suitable for security transport of banking objects.
- AxC faces of the parallelepeds which are the only likely to receive directly and immediately the marking product released by the container in case of break-in or attempt of break-in.
- AxC faces are directly placed in look at the edges of the objects gathered in bundles. So all objects are reached by the product of marking released on AxC faces.
- the AxB and BxC faces of the parallelepipeds formed by pockets 1 in full configuration remain pressed against each other or against inner walls of container 19. They are therefore not directly and quickly reached by the product of marking released.
- the pockets 1 will have advantageously perforations 12 on both sides Opposite AxC parallelepipeds.
- Figure 6 illustrates such a pocket 1 in its empty configuration.
- the useful dimensions of the rectangle are its length L and its width H. They are adapted to format of the transported objects: L is appreciably greater than A and H is significantly greater than B. In the example illustrated, L is approximately 195 cm and H is approximately 120 cm.
- the perforations 12 are aligned, in two rows 13, 14 arranged along each side edge 6, 7 of the pocket. According to the example illustrated, said perforations are substantially circular and have a diameter of approximately 3.5mm. In the example illustrated, the distance D defining the reinforcement zone 17 is substantially 4mm, and corresponds to the pocket manufacturing tolerance.
- the perforations are arranged in "Staggered" for the reasons given above for the effectiveness of contact with the marking product with the objects contained.
- the perforation rate is calculated relative to the hatched region 20, which is characteristic of the arrangement perforations 12.
- Said hatched region 20 is defined as the quadrilateral built on four adjacent perforations linked center-to-center.
- regions 120 and 220 which are also characteristic the arrangement of the perforations 12 for the example illustrated in FIG. 6, lead to the same result for the calculation of the perforation rate.
- the rate of perforation is calculated as the ratio of the sum of the perforations present on said region 20 on the total surface of said region 20.
- the center-to-center distance between two neighboring perforations is substantially equal to 12mm.
- the perforation rate for this embodiment of the perforated envelope is of the order of 6% to 7%.
- the perforation rate is calculated in a similar way.
- the arrangement of the perforations 12, which is a function in particular of pattern of distribution of said perforations 12, of their center-to-center distance and of their diameter d, is chosen so that the perforation rate is not lower than a minimum rate.
- staggered perforation pattern allows a rate lower perforation that the pattern of perforations in regular grid pattern, and therefore better resistance to deformation of the poached.
- This economy of rows 13 of perforations 12 compared to a whole perforated pocket has the advantage of freeing up a large area 21, called printing area, where all kinds of information about the contents of the pocket 1 (nature of the objects, date, sender, ). Another advantage is that this area remains significantly stronger than if it were punctured.
- perforations 12 of shape substantially circular. It is indeed a form easy to obtain by different perforation processes implemented during the production of the pockets 1. On might as well consider other forms of perforations (stars, slits, ...) that would respond as effectively to the objectives sought without going out however within the scope of the invention.
- Safety pockets 1 according to the invention can be made in all kinds of materials compatible in particular with the sealing means 10 envisaged, and with the production of the perforations 12.
- the pockets 1 are made of plastics.
- plastics compared to porous materials, for example paper-based, are that they do not absorb the marking product when it is released in liquid form. It is therefore fully transmitted to the inside of pocket 1.
- plastics it is particularly interesting to use the polyethylene, which in particular has good recycling properties after use.
- the pockets 1 according to the invention are made of preferably from a material under the form of a film.
- pocket 1 is made from an extruded polyethylene film with a thickness of 50 microns.
- the choice is then guided by the desired use of pocket 1, and by manufacturing cost considerations.
- pocket 1 is perforated over its entire surface.
- Such a fully perforated pocket can be used in particular to collect pockets of smaller dimensions itself including tickets, before putting them in a container 19.
- the manipulator can thus save time during emptying and filling operations of said container 19.
