    Claims (10)

    1. Reel for unwinding coils of tubes, profiles or the like, particularly made of plastic, comprising two end plates (3, 4) and a hub (5) extending along the entire axial length, at least one (4) of the end plates being removable, and at least one intermediate plate defining, between the end plates (3, 4), separate housings for at least two different coils, characterized in that the other end plate (3) of the reel is fixed and secured to a drum (2) over which the coil (or coils) can be fitted, that the hub (5) is a tubular central hub integral with this fixed end plate (3), is coaxial inside the drum (2) and is equipped at one end with quick-fit connection means (F) for the removable plate (4), that at least one annulus (6) forming the intermediate plate is fitted over the drum (2) and that means (B) are provided for immobilizing the intermediate plate or plates (6) relative to the drum (2).
    2. Reel according to Claim 1, characterized in that the number of intermediate plates (6) fitted onto the drum (2) is at least equal to two, so as to define at least three separate annular housings.
    3. Reel according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the means (B) of immobilizing the intermediate plates (6) comprise at least one element (7), particularly a tube, secured to the fixed plate (3), projecting parallel to the axis of the drum (2) from the fixed plate and lying radially inside the wall of the drum, which wall has at least one longitudinal slot (8) in the same angular position as this element (7), while each intermediate plate (6) comprises at least one rod (16) projecting radially inwards and, at its end facing towards the centre, fitted with a fork (17) equipped with a clamping means (18), this rod (16) being intended to engage in the longitudinal slot (8) in the drum, the assembly being such that the fork (17) of the rod sits over the said projecting element (7) secured to the fixed plate, which can be clamped between the branches of this fork.
    4. Reel according to Claim 3, characterized in that there are two diametrically opposed rods (16) projecting radially inwards, each equipped with a clamping fork (17) on each intermediate plate (6), while there are two corresponding diametrically opposed slots (8) in the wall of the drum, with two corresponding projecting elements (7).
    5. Reel according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the hub (5) comprises, some distance from the fixed plate (3), supporting spokes (13) starting from the hub and extending as far as the internal face of the wall of the drum (2).
    6. Reel according to Claim 5, characterized in that each axially projecting element (7) starting from the fixed plate (3) lies angularly between two supporting spokes (13) and that a support bar (14), running along a chord between two supporting spokes (13) is rigidly connected to the said element (7).
    7. Reel according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the quick-fit connection means (F) for the removable plate (4) comprise, on the same side as the hub (5), a male central sleeve (27) equipped with a housing (29) for a key (30) parallel to the axis and, on the same side as the mobile plate (4), a female central sleeve (22) equipped with a groove (31) parallel to the axis, capable of housing the key when the female sleeve (22) is fitted over the male sleeve (27) so that the removable plate (4) is thus prevented from rotating on the hub (5), there also being means (35a, 35b, 36, 38) for the axial retention of this removable plate.
    8. Reel according to Claim 7, characterized in that the means of axial retention comprise a ring (36) fitted on the end of the hub, and a screw (38) cooperating with a tapped hole (37a, 37b) in the ring and projecting in the form of an end peg (39) into the bore of the ring (36), the male sleeve (27) of the hub comprising a groove (34a, 34b) parallel to the axis, meeting a circular arc-shaped groove (35a, 35b) to house the peg (39) by virtue of a translational displacement followed by a rotation between the ring (36) and the hub (5).
    9. Reel according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the wall of the drum (2) is made up of eight paddles (21) in the form of cylindrical sectors, separated by eight slots (8).
    10. Reel according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each end plate (3, 4) comprises tubes starting from a central sleeve and forming spokes (11, 12; 23) connected in pairs in their end region, on the outside, by trapezium-shaped panels (P), particularly ones welded to the spokes, and on the inside, by a continuous annulus (24, 25) covering the panels and the spokes.
