This also reduces undesired effects on the shooting pattern.
- the recoil of the shotgun would cause the bolt to initially contrast the thrust of the pistons because of their reduced diameter. This would cause a delay in the opening of the bolt and this delay is added to the delay caused by the rotating bolt head.

Claims (3)
- Fusil automatique (1) à canon lisse actionné par gaz comportant : un canon (3) ayant une partie cylindrique (7) et une chambre de cartouche (5) reliées l'une à l'autre par un cône de jonction (9), un bloc de culasse (11) relié audit canon (3) pour fermer ladite chambre de cartouche (5), un ou deux cylindres (19) reliés audit canon (3) et s'étendant sensiblement parallèlement à celui-ci, un piston (21) disposé au moins partiellement dans chaque cylindre (19) et relié de manière opérationnelle via une tige (23) à ladite culasse (11) pour ouvrir ladite culasse (11) pour recharger automatiquement le fusil (1), un bouchon (25) fixé sur chaque cylindre (19), chaque cylindre (19) définissant avec ledit piston (21) associé audit bouchon (15) une chambre d'expansion (17),
des moyens (15) formant orifice de gaz définissant un orifice de gaz (15) s'étendant vers ladite chambre d'expansion (17) pour extraire une partie des gaz produits lors de la décharge d'un coup dans ladite chambre de cartouche (5), pour actionner ledit piston,
caractérisé en ce que ledit orifice de gaz (15) a une partie d'entrée située le long de ladite partie cylindrique (7) et à proximité de ladite chambre de cartouche (5) à une distance à partir dudit cône de jonction (9) inférieure à la longueur du cône de jonction (4), un clapet de limitation de pression (31) étant monté sur ledit bouchon (25). - Fusil selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite culasse (11) comporte une tête de fermeture rotative (13).
- Fusil selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte deux cylindres reliés audit canon (3) sur des côtés opposés de celui-ci et s'étendant sensiblement parallèlement à celui-ci, deux pistons (21) chacun étant disposé au moins partiellement dans un cylindre respectif desdits cylindres (19) et relié de manière opérationnelle via une tige respective (23) à ladite culasse (11) pour ouvrir ladite culasse (11) pour recharger automatiquement le fusil (1), deux bouchons (25) reliés à un cylindre respectif desdits cylindres (19), chacun desdits cylindres (19) et le piston respectif (21) associé au bouchon respectif (25) définissant ladite chambre d'expansion (17), lesdits moyens (15) formant orifice de gaz définissant deux orifices de gaz (15) s'étendant chacun vers une chambre respective desdites chambres d'expansion (17) pour extraire une partie des gaz produits lors de la décharge d'un coup dans ladite chambre de cartouche, pour actionner ledit piston (21).
