Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that each portion (2), as far as the lateral end covers of the screen, is formed in such a manner that, over the entire horizontal extent thereof, the perpendicular cross-section thereof is identical at least as far as the upper edge region (3) thereof and/or the lower edge region (4) thereof.
  12. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the coupling halves of the portions (2) comprise shaped edge regions (3, 4) thereof and the coupling halves of the holders (1) comprise receiving elements (8, 9) which are arranged in alignment with each other, the edge regions (3, 4) of the portions (2) being formed so as to be able to engage in the receiving elements (8, 9) of the holders (1).
  13. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the coupling halves of the holders (1) and the associated coupling halves of the portions (2) are formed in such a manner that they can be hooked into each other.
  14. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 13, characterised in that the coupling is effected by the introduction of a shaped edge region (3, 4) of a portion (2) into the receiving element(s) (8, 9) of the associated holder(s) (1) and the subsequent pivoting movement of the portion (2) in a substantially perpendicular direction.
  15. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 14, characterised in that the coupling is effected by the introduction of a shaped edge region (3, 4) of a portion (2) into the receiving element(s) (8, 9) of the associated holder(s) (2) and the subsequent, substantially perpendicular, displacement of the edge region (3, 4) of the portion (2) inside the receiving element(s) (8, 9) of the holder (1).
  16. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 15, characterised in that the coupling is effected firstly by the introduction of the upper shaped edge region (3) of a portion (2) into the upper receiving element(s) (8) of the associated holder(s) (1) and the subsequent pivoting movement of the portion (2) in a substantially perpendicular direction, and in that the coupling is further effected by the introduction of the lower shaped edge region (4) of a portion (2) into the lower receiving element(s) (9) of the associated holder(s) (1) and the subsequent, substantially perpendicular, displacement inside the receiving element(s) (9).
  17. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 16, characterised in that the substantially perpendicular displacement of the edge region (4) of the portion (2) inside the receiving element (9) of the holder (2) is effected by the spring tension inherent within the portion (2).
  18. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 17, characterised in that the spring tension acts outwards in the desired position of the portion (2).
  19. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 18, characterised in that the coupling halves of the holders (1) comprise open hollow profile-section portions which are fixed directly or indirectly to a part of a building with a minimum spacing therebetween which corresponds to the expansion coefficient thereof.
  20. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 19, characterised in that the lower edge region (4) of the portion (2) is further secured in the receiving element (9) of the holder (1) by a leaf spring (17).
  21. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 20, characterised in that the coupling halves of the holders (1) are formed by pivoting members (10), the first sides (11) of which have one or more freely protruding resilient lugs (12), and the coupling halves of the portions (2) comprise housings (15) which are fitted thereto and which have one or more passage channels (16) for receiving the lug(s) (12).
  22. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 21, characterised in that, on the inner sides of the portions (2), there are provided protruding bars which bring about a locking of the lug(s) (12) of the coupling halves of the holders (1) in the desired position of the portions (2).
  23. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 22, characterised in that, at the lateral ends of the screen, the portions (2) are closed by means of covers which are fitted to the holders (1).
  24. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 23, characterised in that the covers are fitted to the holders (1) in a rigid and secure manner.
  25. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 24, characterised in that the portions (2) are arranged in a laterally displaceable manner on the holders (1).
  26. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 25, characterised in that the perpendicular edge regions of two adjacent portions (2) are overlapped, on the inner side thereof, by a channel for collecting and directing away rainwater, in particular whilst a spacing is maintained between the screen (2) and the channel.
  27. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 26, characterised in that the screen comprises translucent material.
  28. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 27, characterised in that the screen has background illumination.
  29. Advertising device according to any one of claims 1 to 28, characterised in that the outer side of the screen is provided with information.
