Each end 7, 9 of the rubber blanket 1 is weakened in its thickness g and, in a first embodiment variant (FIG. 1), has an upper 13 and a lower 12 closure part. The (lower) closure part 12 consists of a lower lip 12 which is hook-shaped in cross section and extends in the axially parallel direction of the rubber blanket cylinder 11. The lower hook lip 12 of the leading end 7 of the rubber blanket 1 points in the direction of the outside 14 of the rubber blanket 1.
The second (upper) closure part 13 consists of an upper counter-hook lip 13, which is arranged at the trailing end 8 of the rubber blanket 1 and points towards the inside 16 of the rubber blanket 1. Both hook lips 12, 13 overlap by an amount a, which consists of the width of the hook lip 12 or counter-hook lip 13 plus a gap 17. This gap 17 is formed in each case by a distance between an end face of the lower closure part 12 of the end 7 and an opposite end face of the other end 8 of the rubber blanket 1. The gap 17 is required in order to allow the elastic hook-shaped closure part 12 to escape, so that a hook edge 18 of the lower hook lip 12 of the rubber blanket 1 can positively engage in a hook groove 19 of the upper counter hook lip 13. On the other hand, a hook edge 21 of the upper counter hook lip 13 of the rubber blanket 1 comes into positive engagement with a hook groove 22 of the lower hook lip 12. The closure parts 12, 13 are detachably connected to one another in the radial direction of the blanket cylinder 11, ie hooked or opened in the opposite direction B (FIG. 1). The thickness g of the rubber blanket 1 is not greater than a thickness of the two overlapped closure parts 12, 13 in their operating position.

In a second embodiment variant (FIG. 2), each first and second closure part located at the ends 7, 8 is designed as a lower multiple hook lip 23 located at the end 7 or as an upper multiple counter-hook lip 24 located at the end 8 . That is, compared to the first embodiment (FIG. 1), a further hook lip, which runs parallel to it, is integrally joined to a first hook lip in the circumferential direction of the rubber blanket 1. A back surface of the lower multiple counter-hook lip 24 is identical to the inside 16 of the rubber blanket 1. The multiple hook lip 23 of the end 7 points towards the outside 14 of the rubber blanket 1. The upper multiple counter-counter located at the end 8 of the rubber blanket 1 Hook lip 24 points towards the inside 16 of the rubber blanket 1. A back surface of the upper multiple counter hook lip 24 is identical to the outside 14 of the rubber blanket 1. Both closure parts overlap by an amount c, which is the width of a multiple hook lip 23 or a multiple counter hook lip 24 plus a gap 17 exists.
Hook edges and hook channels of the closure parts 23, 24 are designed in the same way as is described in the first embodiment variant (FIG. 1).

This tab can thus be parallel to the axis Direction of the blanket cylinder 11 are torn open. It is also possible to separate the two parts 12, 13 or 23, 24 by means of a between the parts 12, 13 or 23, 24 introduced slide.

According to a third embodiment variant (FIG. 3), each end 6, 7 of the rubber blanket 1 has lower and upper closure parts 26, 27 of push buttons 28 located in a row. The ends 7, 8 of the rubber blanket 1 overlap by an amount d. The lower and upper closure parts 26, 27 are directed towards one another in the aforementioned manner and can be detachably connected in an interlocking manner. A thickness g of the rubber blanket 1 is not greater than a thickness of the two overlapping closure parts 26, 27 in their operating position.
The lower closure parts 26 are arranged at the end 7 of the rubber blanket 1 and are spaced apart from one another and axially parallel to the rubber blanket cylinder 11. The lower closure parts 26 can consist of circular blind holes 1 which are open toward the outside 14 of the rubber blanket 1. In the vicinity of the upper edge of a blind hole 26, two rod-shaped spring elements 29, 31 run through the cross section of the blind hole 26 in a secant manner.
The upper closure parts 27 are firmly attached to the end 8 of the rubber blanket 1 and run at the same intervals as the lower closure parts 26 axially parallel to the blanket cylinder 11. The closure parts 27 are mushroom-shaped and point towards the inside 16 of the rubber blanket 1 and essentially consist of a shaft 30, which is provided at its free end with an annular bead 32 "mushroom-shaped button". In the operating state, the annular bead 32 is engaged behind by the spring elements 29, 31 of the lower closure part 26, so that both closure parts 26, 27 are positively connected to one another.

The closure parts 26, 27 are separated from one another in the opening direction B or closed in the opposite direction. Opening the row of press studs can e.g. B. done in that the trailing end 8 of the blanket 1 has a laterally projecting over the lateral surface of the blanket 1 tab for mounting.
Instead of holes spaced apart from one another, the lower closure parts 26 can also consist of a groove 33 running in the alignment of the holes (FIG. 4), which has a cross section that is the longitudinal section through a blind hole (FIG. 3) including the spring elements 29, 31 corresponds. The rod-shaped spring elements 29, 31 are then arranged on the upper side edges 34, 36 of the groove 33 which widens inward in cross section and extend through the end 7 of the rubber blanket 1 over an entire width in the axis-parallel direction to the rubber blanket cylinder 11 Upper closure part 27 which consists of several individual "mushroom-shaped buttons" consisting of one or more strips with "mushroom-shaped cross sections" form-fit with the groove 33.
It is therefore also possible to engage with the groove 33 of the end 7 a "strip-shaped" counter-hook lip 25 fastened to the end 8 in a form-fitting manner (FIG. 8).

According to a fourth variant (FIG. 5) each end 6, 7 of the blanket 1 within one overlap length d, e.g. B. 5 mm, slightly less than that half thickness on. The facing sides of the overlapping ends 7, 8 are each with one a hook covering 37 and a loop covering 38 one Velcro 39 existing fastener parts Mistake. The hook covering 37 and the loop covering 38 can also be interchanged with respect to the ends 7, 8. The trailing end 8 expediently has the Rubber blanket 1 compared to the folds 4, 6 an amount d longer end of the blanket 1.

According to a fifth embodiment variant (FIG. 7), the ends 6, 7 of the rubber blanket 1 as a closure part have a series of recesses 41 or tongues 42 arranged spaced apart from one another. The tongues 42 of the end 8 engage in the recesses 41 of the end 7 so that they can be hooked together, so that a form-fitting, but again releasable connection of the two ends 7, 8 is produced.
It is particularly advantageous if the recesses 41 and the tongues 42 are trapezoidal in their base area. That is, each tongue 42 widens trapezoidally in the direction of rotation E of the blanket cylinder 11. Thus, the recesses 41 are equally trapezoidal (Fig. 7). Furthermore, it is advantageous if the edges 43 of the recesses 41 taper from the outside 14 towards the inside 16 of the rubber blanket 1, for. B. by an amount f of 0.1 mm. As a result, the edges 44 of the tongues 42 also taper from the outside 14 towards the inside 16 of the rubber blanket 1. It is also possible to keep the amount f for tapering the edges 44 of the tongues 42 lower in order to reduce the formation of a gap between the two edges 43, 44 (FIG. 7).
Finally, it is also advantageous if the bottom surfaces 46 of the recesses 41 and the undersides 47 of the tongues 42 are each provided with a covering, ie a hook covering 37 or with a loop covering 38 of a Velcro fastener 39.
The parts 41, 42 can in turn be opened by means of a tear-open tab attached to the end 8 of the rubber blanket 1 and located outside the outer surface.

The rubber blanket 1 can be made in one or more layers his.

According to a sixth embodiment variant (FIG. 9), the facing surfaces 40 and 45 of the tongue-shaped ends 7, 8 of the rubber blanket 1 can be provided with an adhesive 48 instead of a Velcro fastener 39 (FIG. 5) and thus be releasably or permanently connected to one another ( Fig. 9).
For the detachable connection, an adhesive 49 is provided which initially firmly connects the two weakened g thicknesses and tongue-like ends 7, 8 that are overlapped on at least 40 or on both surfaces 40, 45. When exposed to heat, e.g. B. by means of radiant heat> 60 ° C, the heat-sensitive adhesive connection is separable, so that the ends 7, 8 of the rubber blanket 12 are free again by lifting.

According to a seventh embodiment variant, each end 7, 8 of the rubber blanket 1 can be prepared as in the previously mentioned embodiment variant. The overlapped weakened ends 7, 8 (tongues) are, however, without applying an adhesive 48; 49 placed one above the other and subsequently welded together, e.g. B. spot welded. One such materially generated by spot welding between the two ends 7, 8 cohesive connection point 51 can, for. B. with a known neodymium-YAG laser. A series of spaced-apart connection points 51 which run in the axis-parallel direction to the blanket cylinder 11 are produced.
A separation of the spot-welded connection points 51 or the ends 7, 8, z. B. Change of the rubber blanket 1, can be done by tearing the adhesive or spot welding 1 near the slot 9 of the blanket cylinder 11. For this purpose, a release wedge is pushed lengthwise between the two tongues 7, 8 connected to one another.
Depending on the choice of the adhesive 49, the connection of the two tongue-shaped ends can be so large that an undetachable connection is created between them.
The ends 7, 8 can be connected to one another by fusion welding in the region of the overlap of the two weakened ends 7, 8.

The principle of the invention exists in all Embodiments in that the opposite reduced-thickness ends 7, 8 of the Overlap rubber blanket 1 and with each other releasably or non-releasably connected.
