Claims (10)
- An actuating device for unlocking at least one pivotable cover of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, the device being arranged on the inside of a sill and comprising a bearing housing and at least one pivotable actuating handle, characterized in that the bearing housing (19) is formed integrally with an elongate inner sill trim (22), and the at least one pivotable actuating handle (20, 21) is provided at the free ends thereof with an integrally formed portion (35, 36) directed towards the outside of the vehicle and engaging in part under an inner door lining (37) - when the vehicle door (3) is closed - in such a way as to prevent the actuating handle (20, 21) from pivoting upwards and thus the cover (7, 9) from being unlocked.
- An actuating device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the actuating device (17) is provided with two actuating handles (20, 21), wherein the front actuating handle (20) - as viewed in the direction of travel - is associated with a front cover (7) and the rear actuating handle (21) is associated with a rear cover (9).
- An actuating device according to Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the actuating handles (20, 21) are pivotable from their substantially horizontal rest position (B) into the pivoted-up operating position (C) only when the vehicle door (3) is opened.
- An actuating device according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that on the inner sill trim (22), on the side facing the passenger compartment (11), a receiving space (41), into which a switch unit (43) can be inserted, is provided laterally adjacent to the bearing portions for the actuating handles (20, 21), wherein the switch unit (43) can be actuated even when the door (3) is closed.
- An actuating device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the switch unit (43) comprises a plurality of memory switches (44) and at least one memory unit (45) for at least one electrically adjustable seat.
- An actuating device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the inner sill trim (22) covers a partial area of the top of the sill (18) and a partial area of the upright inner lining (25) facing the passenger compartment (11).
- An actuating device according to Claims 1 and 6, characterized in that the inner sill trim (22) rests in part on an underlying support part (29) secured to the sill and is held in position in a releasable manner on the said support part (29).
- An actuating device according to one or more Claims, characterized in that on the inner sill trim (22), on the side facing the adjacent seat (40), handle recesses (38, 39) are formed in the region of the free ends of the actuating handles (20, 21).
